This Stevia Extract tastes way better than those brand names with sugar alcohols combined in them. Have been making Ginger Love drink recipe, (since the store that was carrying it no longer does carry it), with just 1/32 teaspoon of this setvia leaf extract added to the liquids and poof, it tastes great. Also have been making my own vanilla coffee creamer with this stevia leaf extract and there is no after taste. I'm truly impressed at this product!! Have never liked the after taste of stevia products at all but this one is amazing! A little bit goes a long way and the price is worth it. Just get your measuring spoon out or sprinkle some in and stir or if your making some things; coffee creamer, Ginger Love, etc., shake to dissolve and there have been no clumps - always a constant consistency. The main reason, and it was hard to find just "Stevia Leaf Extract" without Erythritol added or some other sugar alchol, because I've come across this research many times: erythritol, a sugar alcohol often blended with stevia leaf extract, not the pure stevia leaf extract itself. High levels of erythritol may increase blood clotting. While studies note a potential danger for those with preexisting conditions, further research is needed. So, that's why I won't even by that sugar free anything, pretty much because those products contain the two ingredients. And, there's that nasty after taste. , which by the way, mixing the two is being found to cause strokes
I am still trying to get the right amount to use in coffee and cold drinks but I will say this i find that the favor taste better than I expected I am adjusting day by day I will review it again later Sbell
Item purchased: Stevia Extract powder w/o inulun in a shaker bottle Taste: This companies stevia extract powder has no aftertaste, IF, used in appropriate amounts. Stevia Extract powder is a few hundred times sweeter than sugar, so, only a dash is required in a cup or glass. Dissolvability in HOT liquids: Stevia extract powder dissolves better when put into the cup before adding hot liquids. Stevia extract powder dissolves reasonably well if added after a cup is filled with HOT liquids Dissolvability in COLD liquids: Add the stevia extract powder to the bottom of an empty glass and add only a little of the cold beverage, then, swish around until dissolved. What doesn't work with any brand of stevia extract powder is trying to dissolve any amount in an already filled glass of an iced beverage. Other Information: This reviewer is a repeat buyer and has been using sweetleaf stevia extract powder for more than 20 years. The stevia extract powder tastes better than the liquid stevia. The stevia extract powder in a shaker dispenser tastes better than the single serving packets. The stevia extract powder without inulin tastes best.
I have tried numerous brands of Stevia in powder and liquid forms. This company has the only Stevia powder that has no bitter after-taste! And so little goes such a long way! I bought a set of micro-measuring spoons and that will be the only challenge - finding the measurement which brings you your level of desired sweetness. Enjoy!
I love the economy of the powder. Been using it for years. Works better than the drops for me. Also appreciate there are not a lot of unexpected additives.
LOVE THIS PRODUCT. As a diabetic this is a must and a little goes a *L O N G W A Y*.
I purchased both the liquid organic stevia and the powder. I use 1/8 tsp. to sweeten a gallon of tea. I have not tasted any bitterness with the organic stevia.
I love the taste and high quality of your pure Sweet Leaf Steavia!
this is the only true pure stevia product out there. many others are cheaper because they have additives. this little bottle goes a LOONGGG way. very little is needed. if you use too much it will taste bitter so experiment with a little at a time until you get the sweetness desired. great deal
I'm so glad there's a healthy zero calorie, zero carb sweetener that I can use. Thank God.
