We love roasted sweet potatoes. We always have the 3 lb bag in our pantry. These run small just right for the two of us to split. I have not had a bad one yet. We eat them mashed on toast, in egg or salmon etc. bowls, and for dinner (in a variety of ways). In fact, we keep discovering ways to eat them. Photo shows our latest bag - 7 in the bag. Great price. Good deal.
these sweet potatoes are so yummy! and they're really really good for you too! They contain phytoestrogens which increase estrogen levels. they are plant compounds which contain estrogen. so I like to eat them because I'm going through menopause and they make me feel better when I eat them. I like to bake them at 350 with a little bit of olive oil on them and you just poke holes in them with a fork and you cook them on each side for 30 minutes and they taste amazing with a little bit of cinnamon and I use truvia granulated artificial sweetener and then some margarine. it's a great way to start the day with a couple of eggs and some cheese. and it works great for my low-carb diet.
I buy these sweet potatoes often . I wash and dry each potato. I line a baking dish with nonstick foil.. I use Bacon up lard to grease each potato. Line the potatoes on the foil lined baking dish. Bake @ 350 degrees approximately 30-45 minutes. Let cool; then wrap each potato in foil and freeze. Hungry for a potato… take as many frozen potatoes as needed and heat .
The bag of sweet potato was not checked prior to to bringing it to my pick up location at %23 11 because when I got home half of the bag were rotten with liquid dripping from the bag. I do not see how this issue was overlooked. Please advise your order pickers to pay closer attention next time. Overall I have no issues.
The sweet potatoes were damaged. I couldn’t use over half of them. When I called the 800-Walmart number, they didn’t help. They wouldn’t refund the price of the potatoes to my payment method. I was informed I need to return them to the store. My delivery order was $301.00 while the potatoes were $2. I thought that was bad service. I won’t order any more sweet potatoes from this company. I’ve never had a problem with that in the past,
When choosing items for orders placed online you would think the person that is assigned to pick the grocery items would pick the best. It is Walmart's policy to choose the best items because they are shopping on behalf of the customer. However, this was not so with my order that was delivered. Upon going through the items ordered I noticed that there were a couple rotten sweet potatoes in the bag. It was very noticeable because it was soft to the touch. I ordered two bags and both bags had rotten items in them.
I was not happy when going to use these only to find that they must have gotten wet and when I opened the netting bag they were in it was clear there were many that were rotting in the bag so I had to throw out as I wasn’t driving back to the store for a new one.
I ordered two bags of these, very disappointed...there were 2-3 soft, rotten potatoes in each bag! Making having them delivered worthless, I needed to run to the store to get more for the holiday.
How could the picker not see they were this rotten? The sweat potatoes where rotten and mushy. They even smelled terrible. What an awful feeling to grab it out of the grocery bag and have your fingers go through them.
Terrible quality and I had it delivered and walmart had the nerves to tell me return it to a store for a refund. Like if i had purchased it myself i wouldn't have picked this out. I'm tired of walmart deliveries.
