The beauty of this handy fan is its simplicity. We looked at other handheld fans and they are either packed with unnecessary technology, made with cheap exposed blades that can't move the air of a good sneeze, or just flat out too small. This cute little guy actually looks like a fan with rotating blades in its round cage. And it's a good size. The fan head is 4”, so folded for desktop use, it really is a personal fan and not a miniscule toy. It's a decent handful to hold, and it's very lightweight. So it's not too much fan, and again, not dinky. We'd say it's the perfect size for a personal fan. The operation is where this fan shines. Turn it on. Turn it off. It blows. Yes, 6 different speeds, but does it need to do anything else than blow? The lowest setting is a wisp of a breeze. The next couple gears get some air moving. By the fourth gear, your hair's blowin' in some good wind. The top gears are blowing the papers off your desk if you're not careful! So yeah, this little guy has got some power. It's pretty quiet on low. The highest gear does sound like a fan. It also has a little vibration in hand, but that's to be expected. The only other technology is the small display window to show the gear number it's on, which then turns into the remaining power percentage. That's handy information to have. It doesn't need to tell you the time and temp and air quality score. It's a simple fan to blow air. That's all it needs to be. The fan came with 74 percent power, and we've been playing with it for a while now while we write this. It's down to 62 percent, but we've been running it on high. Whether that's good or bad run time, we can't say. We've never had a wireless fan before. We'll only be able to judge its operating longevity over time. We got it for occasional use, so a full charge should really last a while. We like this little KISS fan. Out of the box, it's a winner. If you're a hot blooded person, you should get one.
