Had to replace my old Swiffer Wetjet after many years of use. As I had used it successfully in that time, I didn’t hesitate to replace it with the same. Makes for fast and easy cleanups in the kitchen, bath and laundry as well as when one of my doggies decides to leave me a present indoors. The refills and batteries last a long time and the disposable pads are inexpensive to use. Love this mop.
I just love this mop. Sure, beats the old mop with bucket and water. You can look at the mop pad and see just how dirty your floor was. Gets all the dirt. Excellent product!!!!! The spray makes it so much easier, and it smells nice. buy it now, you won't be disappointed.
I have been using this Swiffer Wet Jet mop for a solid 15 years, and I've consistently been impressed with how easy it is to use and the quality of its cleaning performance. Today, my original one finally gave up the ghost after all that time, so I had no choice but to buy a replacement. I'm happy to report that the cleaner still does a fantastic job, and I've also found that the off-brand refills are a great cost-effective option. My only minor complaint is that, while they work well, the off-brand refill bottles don't always connect as securely to the mop as the original Swiffer bottles did.
It comes with everything you need to start out. I buy fabuloso floor cleaner for when the cleaning solution runs out. Instead of wasting money on refills, put the plastic thing in boiling hot water and it’ll come off so you can refill them yourself. Then you can buy Walmart brand mop pad refills or reusable ones to save money.
I got this to replace an older one that stopped working. This works well and is easy to use. I use it mainly in my kitchen to clean up after small drops and my dogs drool. It works well but it gets loose in the handle.
I really appreciate and love this product for quickly cleaning my laminate wood floors. I gave one less star because I do think the spray nozzles on this version are not as good as the old version. I did notice the old version took 4 AA batteries and this version only takes 2. I recommend getting the pads from a cheaper source.
Get this instead: SUGARDAY Microfiber Spray Mops for Floor Cleaning Wet Dry Dust Hardwood Kitchen Floor Mop this product cost about half. The price of the swiffer mop is as easy if not easier to put together uses reusable microfiber cloth, mop heads (2 come with it are very high quality and attach as easily —if not more easily —than anything from Swiffer) the swiffer replacement mop pads cost min $2 each even when you get them on sale/bulk — and the microfiber mop head pads that come with/ the sugarday system (with the complete sugarday system costing about $20 with no need to buy batteries, replacement pads or replacement cleanser and it’s much higher quality moping and doesn’t make any noise and is as easy and fast if not easier and faster to put together as the swiffer mop so for half the price you can get something that works better is quieter and doesn’t require you to continue buying replacement products that are expensive and bad for the environment so why swiffer is even still in business I don’t know but anyway… Swiffer mops, etc. kinda like that joke from Chernobyl: “What’s as big as a house, makes a s%23! ton of noise, burns 20 L of fuel an hour and cuts an apple into three pieces? A Soviet machine designed to cut an apple into four pieces.” What cost $40, takes batteries, users, expensive flimsy replacement mop, head pads, and expensive replacement mop fluid? A swiffer mop that costs twice as much, requires ongoing expensive replacement products that are only available from swiffer, makes a lot of noise to use and keeps you locked into having to buy replacement products that are bad for the environment from swiffer, than the better designed, complete package Sugarday microfiber option that doesn’t make any noise, use any batteries (or electrics etc.) or require any additional purchases, is better for the environment and I allows you to easily refill the refillable cleansing bottle (designed %26 inserted almost exactly like the swiffer replacement options except this is easier to use and you get to choose your own cleansing solution: i.e. mixture of water and vinegar, or concentrated enzymatic cleanser dilated with as much or as little water as you choose , or water and a little dish soap, etc.), and works much better.”
The was to replace my old one I've had for years. First use the new mop didn't spray hardly any cleaner out. I have to hold it pointed down for there to be any kind of stream. Like it was already clogged. I tryed to check the holes and Changed batteries to ones and not what came with and made no difference.
I have had a swifter mop before and this one is worse quality. The power of the sprayer is weak and it stopped working after a few uses. Why do companies make trash? I checked the batteries and it isn’t that. It happened to my older model too but that one at least lasted a year.
I purchased this and used it twice and now it no longer works I put fresh batteries in it it still has fluid in it just not working after two uses. I had their original Swiffer mop from eons ago that worked it was just so heavy cuz how many batteries it required I thought this would be a nice change of pace. well something that breaks after only using it twice and not abusing it or mishandling it is pretty disappointing
