Good map with good detail
This is a large map with good detail. We use dry erase markers to indicate where projects are located throughout the US. It works well.

A bit more likely to ripthan I expected
A bit thinner than I was expecting, the lamination is not very thick and looks like it can be ripped. But it will be good enough for our homeschool. I'll put it up on the wall out of reach of my two year old and hope it lasts the school year. :)

Not as advertised.
It is not 60 inches long. It is 36 inches X 53-1/4 inches, including the borders. The borders are not the same dimensions along the edges. The bottom and right side borders are 5/8 inches. The top and left side are 7/8 inches. This matters if you are framing it.

Great for states without mountains
It is difficult to read the town names on states with mountains because of the darker shading used to denote mountains. Basically you can't read many towns in Utah because of the brown shading and black font. Arizona and Montana have similar issues with dark shading and black font. A white font would be much better … or use a lighter color on mountainous states.
