Bought it for my 7 year old who had thick braids and a lot of beads. Since the cap was as stretchy as the pictures show, we were able to fit all of her hair in it. Though, due to the weight of all the beads, the cap wouldn't stay on. Other than the weight issue, and even though she only wore it for a few minutes, the cap was great.
