Swing-A-Way Wall Can Opener Magnetic White

I had to replace my old swing away can opener after over 30 years use due to blades being to dull to open cans easily. I was so happy to learn it fit in the old mounted hardware already mounted in my kitchen. All I had to do was remove the pin and replace the new can opener and insert the pin! It works like a charm. I don't care for electric can openers. They don't seem to work properly to my liking.

My hands are getting quite a lot of arthritis and hand twisting can openers are starting to be difficult to operate so I’m trying this old fashioned wall hanging one. Hopefully it’ll last. Everything is so cheaply made these days. Time will tell.

I've had one for years. Attached to pantry wall. So easy to use and very hard to find these old wall can openers my old one must be 25-30 years old and cutting edges were getting dull and worn out.

Love this can opener. Brings back memories, as this is the same can opener my family used when i was growing up. Electric ones have always let me down, even the ones that are safety ones. Only problem was the 4 mounting screws were missing, but 4 wood screws are easy enough to get.

I have used Swing a way wall can openers for over 60 years. This is the 3rd one I've had, so guess 20 years (ave) on the use of one isn't so bad! Whenever I give in to having to have a new one, I'm so afraid they don't make these anymore, so keep on making them! FR, Macomb, IL

I love this can opener! It's easy to use, it turns so smoothly, and I can get a grip on it. So much better than hand held openers.

Love it just like my Mom had and works wonderful! So much better than hand heads and higher quality!

This is the third swing away I've bought. The first one lasted 20 years. The second one lasted 5 years. I hope this is more like the first one and lasts a good long time.

I got it for the convenience and nostalgia, forgetting that it is designed for right- handed people and I am a Southpaw. Magnet is not ideally situated. It does not pick up or retain the lid for you. They don't make em like they used to but it is still a durable good. It is still nostalgic. It is still cute. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
