Am really pleased with the quality of this luggage. Because I check two bags usually when I am traveling, I ordered two of the 24”. Zippers work easily. It has a self locking mechanism with a TSA approved key access, so no locks needed. It is easy to change the original 000 combination. Inside is a snapped in shoe bag and another smaller bag for odds and ends. The content holder is elastic and in the new X shape. It is soft side, so it is deeper than the hard side luggage I looked at, which zips in the middle. Wheels are 360 spinners. Handle works perfectly. Only used once so far, but I am very pleased with the value and quality, Maroon is easy to pick out on the luggage carousel as well. (As long as everyone doesn't buy these!)
I really like this suitcase, it's my first time buying a suitcase but after reading reviews and doing some research I found that these were pretty good long lasting suitcases. this one in particular is pretty big and spacious like described; I also really like the wheels and their 360 spinning capabilities. This suitcase genuinely looks sturdy and like it's going to last me a while. I haven't been able to use it yet because my trip isn't for another month but i'm still very excited to use it and I really think it's goong to hold up.
The luggage was exactly as described, good quality, and arrived I. Great co Fitton on time. And it was on sale!
Some of the reviews said this luggage was larger than the measurements in the description so I purchased the 24” so it would not exceed airline guidelines. When I received it, the measurements were exactly as stated. So I kept this one and went ahead and purchased the 28” also. It was also the size stated in the description. I'm very happy with my purchase/
My Mother and Father are together in a nursing home about 100 miles from my home. Because of the distance we only visit about once a month. When we do visit we take them loads of junk food to enjoy and share with other resident. In the past we have had to lug arm loads of bags up steps to enter the building. Most of the time my wife and I had to make two trips. The other day we were getting our junk food bagged up to make a trip and this Swiss Tech 24" bag, which I had just removed from the box it came in, was sitting right in front of me. We loaded all the food in this bag with a little room to spare. We used the handicap ramp to transfer the goodies from the car to my parents room with the greatest of ease. This bag stood up to the task.
This is a very nice piece of luggage. It has lots of compartments on the outside and on the inside. It has an expandable top with zippers. It has a pull out handle and the luggage is on wheels making it easy to move. It also has a handle on the side to use instead of the wheels. It has a lock system that is very unique and easy to use. It is very well made and durable.
Beautiful piece of luggage. Glided smoothly on 4 wheels. Light weight. Comfortable handles on top and side. Zippered expansion open easily. Plenty of room for an extended vacation. I loved the bag, however, I am an older woman and I feared I wouldn't be able to manage this large bag on my own so I opted for the smaller 24 inch checked bag. Same great features but in a more manageable size.
There are 4 double spinner wheels for ease of turning as walking (8 wheels total so it is sturdy while standing) that turn 360 degrees for easy pulling or keeping up as you slowly work your way in a line. There are 3 handles, 2 that are attached to the suitcase to carry, 1 on the front long side and one on the top for lifting in or out, the other is a retractable handle that you can extend when needing it and has a rubber nonslip grip which is a plus as the others without that nonslip group slip out of my hand while pulling them. There is an approximately 1-inch zipper expander for those times you just need a couple more items to fit without worrying about stressing the zippers. The TSA approved locks are AMAZING, no more trying not to lose the lock key during travel. Gone is that irritating label you had on your handle, that is great as every person who transports your luggage from airports, security, bellhops, etc. have no need to see all your contact information. I almost missed it myself, but it is on the back of the suitcase, a bit hard to remove the paper without running a finger along the front and back of the card..but a good thing it will not just slide out and does not reveal your information but is a place you know to look in the event it is lost for a bit. A nice perk from our old luggage, the inside bottom can be unzipped and removed in the event of any kind of soiling so you can clean and let dry completely. I assume the reason the inside pocket is a thicker plastic zippered pocket would be if you needed a place for items that were not 100% dry? This is my least favorite aspect of the product knowing plastic can be punctured and become brittle with age so not my first choice for inside pocket material. This suitcase is black, you can choose from this and olive green, both are fine with me as let's face it, the minute you take a trip the suitcase is never the same once it has been handled and tossed and gone through a luggage feeder and the colors I personally would prefer would only look great if you never used it, so these color options are perfectly fine as not light to show every speck of dirt or ding .
I bought this bag for a 8 day trip and it didn't make it out well for even a day. One of the wheel's outer layer popped off at the train station. The bag was not even 40 lbs so it wasn't the weight. I was able to roll it back home luckily. I wanted to love this bag and all its compartments but I had to return it to try something else. I see it has a warranty but if it didn't last a day thru the concrete jungle then I can't imagine it on a real adventure.
The item did not have any tags or instructions indicating it may have been a returned item. No warranty tag. Another major problem was that the website would not accept my credit card (from Canada) although I had no problem using the same card for in store purchases. Come on Walmart get you act together
