SWISSGEAR 29" Spinner, Blue

This replaces the same one I had. It seems to be built as well as the other one. SWISSGEAR made it very easy to replace. I highly recommend it. My old one had a zipper failure but it did make a lot of trips overseas and in the USA.

This is my second purchase of the same bag. The only difference is that the other one was tan and this one is blue. The tan one was really put to the test and endured many guided tours where bags get traditionally rough treatment and of course we all know what airline baggage treatment is like.

Am very happy with this purchase. Looks like bag is solidly built and wheels are strong. I have not used yet but will be put to the test with airplane handlers in two weeks. We'll see how it holds up.

I am replacing a similar one and was pleasantly surprised with the wheels on the new one. Very easy to move around. It has a lot of space and not too big. I did have a waterproof pack in my old one that the new one did not have.

This suitcase has many great features. Good size and pockets. Handle feels a little flimsy when fully extended. Wheels do not roll very smoothly over rough areas. They only roll ok over carpeting. I would change the inside strap to an X design on the inside as they do not hold the items in place during flights. I have done two work trips with this suitcase. Overall I am not disappointed. I pack between 40-45 pounds for week long trips. The handle seem to be very secure and I like their placement on the bag. I have had handles break in the past with much less weight. For the price this is a good solid suitcase.

The actual measurements 30. 9 x 18. 9 x 13 makes it a check-in vs a carry-on by 3 and that is without expandable capacity inflations. The Jet Trains MAY allow these bags but I hear they are VERY STRICT.
