I have found these non-latex cosmetic sponges to be far superior to the latex applicators. I get consistently even coverage.

Okay, these are not your fancy makeup sponges, but they can be used to apply and blend makeup. I wanted these primarily to replace the sponge in my cushion foundation, as well as a couple of powder compacts, and they had to be thin enough (or squishy enough) to get the lids closed. They seem sturdy and a very decent quality--not of them have fallen apart or crumbled while using to apply and blend foundation and blush on my face. The CAN be washed, but some makeups have oil in them, or other water-resistant ingredients than can be a pain to wash out. In that case, if I can just toss the dirty sponge in the trash--something I'd hesitate to do with one of those $20 Beauty Blender even if it became impossible to clean. For hygiene reasons alone, these are a good option. They also will eventually find their way to my craft room. These are the ideal type of sponges to use for pan pastels and paint. I definitely plan to buy more of these soon--especially as I have seemed to misplace the package somewhere.
These cosmetics rounds are much smaller than previously. I ordered on line and didn't pay attention to the size. I never realized there was more than one size. The quality is the same so I kept them .
I have bought these makeup sponges for years. They are usually great. Thick and durable but this last one I purchased, the sponges are thinner than usual. Also the sponge is not the same quality. Very cheaply made. Obviously someone decided to change things up to save money on making these but what they really did was lose this loyal customer!
If an item is not available in the store, I don't wanna have a shipped unless I say ship it a lot of times I don't receive the item. I never got the iPhone 5 phone case. They said it was delivered, but I've never found it.
These are very small and they're very cheap. They absorb a lot of your make up. You're better off to keep with the better sponges that you've been using. I normally buy the ones from Sephora so these are basically trash.
