This thing is honestly cool. I use it to press a cheap wireless doorbell setup at scheduled times during the day, and it helps me and the kids to stay on a schedule. So far it has been super reliable, and was fairly easy to set up. The only complaint I really have is that you can only set 5 scheduled times for it to work through the app. You can however trigger it unlimited times by pressing the button in the app. As pictured, I have jerry-rigged it to a 2x4 but it does come with all sorts of adhesives that probably look alot nicer lol
If you can't set it on a timer then it's no good
I use the timer on the app and it has never failed to have my ice ready when i get up or shut off at night. no hub required. it sticks to surface very well.
this is a wonderful addition to my house. it makes me feel safe as i can turn on lights when i want in the house, like when i come home after dark. easy to set up. easy to use. no issues. always works.
On-time delivery worked as described
Great product. If you're buying it for a Rocker light switch you will need 2 (1 on each side).
Don't be fooled by the small camera package. It has one of the best picture and video quality that I have ever seen. The camera also comes with an array of useful functionalities to monitor your home; it has night vision mode, motion detection, custom detection zone and can even set the camera to only recognize human (very useful for me as I have a pug at home) With it's built-in microphone and speakers, it's really convenient for me to speak to my guest who is waiting at my door front while I am on my way home. I am always concern of recurring fees for the footage that I save into. This camera works well for me that the footages can be saved into an SD card and I don't need to worry about any additional fees and can access the footages via the SwitchBot app. There is also a paid cloud option for those who are keen. All-in-all I would 100% recommend the SwitchBot Indoor Cam to everyone who wants to monitor their home wirelessly and be constantly watchful on what is happening at home from afar. It is by far one of the cheapest and best value for money camera that you should look for.
It works well and I have it set up so I can unlock the main door to my stairwell. So every time I come home I don't need to search for the keys, I just say "Hey Siri, Unlock the door" and it unlocks it within 5 seconds. (I also opened it for the delivery guy today while I was at work) This is amazing!
My switchbot is mounted to a cat toy and integrated with Home Assistant running on a nearby Raspberry Pi. It works pretty well, but range is very poor so activation is sporadic. While I suspect this is largely the Pi's mediocre Bluetooth, just be aware of this limitation if you're considering similar Switchbot/HA combinations.
Great Gadget however cant control it remotely via WiFi with the SwitchBot Hub Mini.
