SwitchBot Hub Mini, Smart IR Blaster & Smart Bluetooth to Wi-Fi Gateway, White

Worked perfectly

Shortly after receiving my SwitchBot Hub Mini, I had it controlling my Air Purifier, TV, Roomba, Roland Piano and two flameless candles. Setup was easy. After scenes were created, I added the SwitchBot skill to Alexa and had voice control working as well. I love the simplicity of the SwitchBot Hub Mini design. I doesn't require direct line-of-sight to each device, although it of course needs to be in the same room. I bought a second unit for my bedroom and set it up as well. The only glitch so far has been to get the candles working with Google Home. The Google home app does not acknowledge "Other" devices. Could SwitchBot add a device called "Candle" perhaps? I installed my SwitchBot Hub Mini's using a low-profile Nekmit power adapter and a SwitchBot USB to micro-USB adapter. No cables needed and a very neat installation. Five stars.

Thanks to Betty and Ellen for assisting me in my concern and for hassle free replacement. Great support and love the products. Though there are glitches at some point which is acceptable for an electronic devices. I hope to see more smart devices from switch bot, e.g. smart robot vacuum similar to roomba, deebot, etc

I believe in the future, this technology will be applied to all house hold and will be normal. Innovative ideas is important. Example: a base that can hold and rotate a display screen or fan with a present angle. I hope to see this in the future. Just an idea.

Did not expect to receive the items this quick, very efficient delivery process. One feedback though, I wish the product page on the SwitchBot website could provide more specific product specifications and also a detailed list of the items included in the box. I purchased the SwitchBot Bot and the product page does not indicate what type of battery is needed for the Bot, how long it will last before needing replacement, and does it require the SwitchBot Hub Mini to work. I managed to get some answers by tweeting on your Twitter account but I thought basic product info such as battery should be at least stated on the product page. Nonetheless, the whole purchase process was pretty simple and efficient. Thank you!

Not sure how well the product works, as I have not been able to set it up in the manor I planned. I bought the hub mini to go with my switchbot. I want to be able to control the switchbot via Alexa. I’m really not even sure that’s possible. I just haven’t found the resources or support to get that done.

SwitchBot Switch and Hub simply work out of the box. Perfectly integrates with Alexa, Apple Shortcuts and other services. Use it myself to call the elevator to my apartment. I also got rid of using three IR-remotes to control my TV, tuner and Apple TV with „Scenes“. Love it!

I ordered the Hub Mini mainly to be able to voice-control my SwitchBots with Google Assistant and Siri but I am now also using it to voice-control my audio receiver and TV (via infrared). It works nicely but I'd prefer to enable voice-control without having to enroll all devices into the cloud as I am afraid what happens if the cloud services are being hacked... Maybe for Google Assistant on-device voice control is not possible but I think for Siri it is.

Cant Control the SwitchBot Bot or other Bluetooth devices Via WiFi/Remotely, U must B in Bluetooth Proximity of the Bot itself. Occasionally Need 2 turn my RV Frig off %26 back on when away from my RV.

Wast of time, didn't work at all. Very difficult to set up account.
