SwitchBot Remote, Programmable Bluetooth Remote for SwitchBot Products, White

Bought this expecting to press it once to control 2 sets of curtains, I’m either missing something or it just doesn’t do it as the set up isn’t clear enough on how to do this, I can only get it to work on one set of curtains instead of 2 sets. The whole set up process could be made easier for all Swithbot items

Presently using 3 Switchbot Bots and 2 remotes. Simply loving it. During this pandemic, I converted to having lessons on Zoom for my students, and with the relaxing of the restrictions, some parents/students still prefer to have online sessions. So when I'm switching from face-to-face sessions and than over to zoom, I found myself, needing to be walking to switch on/off my light switch. That's where I got the Switchbot Bots. It works great with the apps on my phone and iPad. I haven't configure it on my iMac yet. Then I got the remote last month, and it works even better. Thanks.

Before ordering, I was a little worried about the delivery and payment of duties, as well as the functionality of individual products, but it was worth it. Great material design as well as packaging. Order came in five days (wonderful). Finally, I can control the ceiling fan using the phone as well as the logitech speakers remotely! Just great, plus a switchbot curtain and switchbot bot for remotely switching my PC. Clear application and many functions in it. The only thing I miss is the integration into homekit, but I know that this can be done, by homebridge (YT video) which someone might find it to be a bit difficult. I believe that in the future there will be an update for the homekit, but still a great job for siri shortcuts! I'm really excited about switch other products, it's really worth the money, I'll definitely buy more products in the future. THANK YOU.

Setup and usage is super simple. Highly recommended, if you want to manually control your bots without starting your phone app all the time. Small, well built and useful. In case of pairing it to curtain bots, it would be a cool feature to be able to stop the current operation (e.g. I started to open/close the curtains, and and intermediate position of the bots would be just fine. Then I'd like to stop them right where they are with the remote.) Awesome tool nevertheless.

Although the Switchbot Remote works perfectly when assigned to a Curtain as a Open/Close and the fact that it works even when the internet is out is great but, i wish the remote could control a group of Curtains (as in opening/closing say 2 doors and window together as a group - open the entire room) Also i would like to see double press or long press as options (one press open, double press stop, long press open multi bots)

I needed to activate a flashlight from 15 feet away!? I was thinking about a camera “wired remote “ for the old shutter style…THEN I found YOU, Thank you Switch Bot!!! Perfect remedy for my “Problem”

Great open curtains when getting up and close at night without getting out of bed ream nice product don’t care for tape with aluminum in doesn’t last wrapped mine with electrical tape by joints in rods for smoother transition

The remote button is good, it does one action, e.g you can set it to open a blind , or shut a blind or in my case turn on the air-conditioner, or turn it off. It would be better if i could set off a routine or scene e.g turn the AC on for 20 minutes then and then off. Or AC on and blind shut for example.

Nice compact units which work fine in my U-rail. One little problem, the driving units are too far apart to go around a curve. I'm thinking about a solution for that issue.

I was really hopeful that switchbot would be able to open and close my outdoor curtains. The weighted bottom made it to much for the bot to fully open and close the curtains. I have tried for two weeks ( one email per week) to get a refund with no response. You only have 30 days to request a refund under certain conditions.
