These are fine - it's hard to find a cheap HomeKit compatible bulb, and these are very okay. Pretty good colors, not super bright - think mood lighting not overhead. Bluetooth based, so no sketchy things on the WiFi, but that means they are pretty slow to respond. Get the SYLVANIA app it suggests, do a firmware update, and then add them to the home app - do this one at a time, that app gets confused if you try to update more than one bulb. You need an Apple TV or HomePod for these to work, an iPhone/iPad isn't enough! I also notice the further the bulb is from one the these the slower it is to respond - but they seem to pair to whatever's closer so if you've got multiple ATVs or HomePods you should be good. Every time you update the bulb you'll need to re-pair with the home app (remove, and re-add by scanning the QR code). And since they are slow Siri will usually complain that they are taking a long time to respond, but it gets there eventually. Also weird thing - in color mode the max brightness is 80%, Siri won't do anything if you ask it to raise above 80% so keep that in mind. Works with my Apple TV 4th Gen (A1625), Apple TV 4K 1st Gen (A1842), and HomePod Minis for the HomeKit stuff. And both my iPhone XS and 13 for the firmware app. I've got like 6 of these, one died after a few months but they are cheap so I just bought another. Hue would probably be better, but these are 10ish bucks a bulb soooooo 🤷‍♂️

I returned the bulb. After downloading the app, it would only connect to the Sylvania app and not HomeKit. Once the bulb was detected it would complete the update so I was unable to use it. Defective Im sure but far too complicated to set up.

It is supported by Amazon's Alexa, but it disconnects every three days or so. Up I t now I was able to just reset it. But tonight it refuses to set up this time. I've only had this bulb for a few weeks. I'm not amused.

Great inexpensive light bulb. All you need is an app and it works great!

Bought three of these bulbs. One has completely stopped working and the other two need constant repairing. Just buy a lutron caseta smart switch.

Easy to set up using the apple home kit. I have 3 bulbs in my ceiling fan. I have them all in sync with eachother you can even control them alone. Dont use the sylvania app to setup if using a idevice. Just use the apple homekit app to setup. Be sure to write down the code used for activation before screwing bulb in.

Overall did what I thought it would do. Initially you have to set it up with the product app but I was surprised it worked so well with my Google Home. So far I have it set up with different routines and it works pretty fluidly- turns off and on, changes color and settings, and dims within the programming. The Sylvania app has a really nice color wheel and sunsrise/set spectrum but on the Google Home app you can only use their colors. Probably a developer issue more than a product bug but that's mu only complaint. 4 stars for the Sylvania app not being very intuitive with the product and relying on other smart home products.

Some of colors are slightly off if you use the Apple Home app to change them. Example: if you choose red on the color wheel it's actually hot pink, but when you tell Siri to change it to red, it's red. There are other weird color things but for the price, it's great.
