I purchased these mainly to dim the lights in the living room. A dimmer switch would have cost almost the same about as the bulbs , but a dimmer cannot be controlled by your phone! I'll play with the colors as each holiday comes around!
Works great with home kit just follow the instructions. Use the SYLVANIA app first to set them up and then go into the home kit app and add them and your good! I have replace all my bulbs in my house to these
Works as advertised and good customer support
OBEYS MY COMMAND. WILL EVEN DIM IF YOU ASK IT TO. I HAVE WIFI AND USE MY OK GOOGLE.
Do not buy. These bulbs are junk. I bought 7 of them due to good price. After unboxing I had no problem connecting to Google Home. They work for 1-2 days then they need a complete factory reset as they randomly loose their connection to Google Home. I also updated firmware on all of them from Sylvania app - it did not fix the problem. I spent too much time on them. They are working all right as "dumb" lights - so do not expect that they are "smart" ones - as claimed by the package.
These bulbs are awful! They don't work well with Google and they don't work with Alexa either. They work fairly well if you use the Sylvania app to turn them on and off. But they are constantly unresponsive when using Google or Alexa.
I do not recommend these bulbs for a stand alone it bulb or to use with Apple HomeKit. It did not work for me, it would not sync.
could not get to sync. The app works but it is extremely slow to load. by the time it takes to open, I could get up and turn it on.
I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing. These don't even stay connected to their app let alone any linking to a household hub.
These do not work away from home and barely work inside the home.
