This light, has controls that link to my phone. I like that you can choose it to be did or as bright as the sun. It works wonderful when I am walking through the living room to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I can use the lowest setting to make sure I don't kick the cat or couch. This little light bulb packs a huge punch! I absolutely love being able to control it with my phone and Siri. The app was easy to download and is super easy to use. The only problem I see now is that I am going to have to buy more of these for the rest of the house. The light is a soft white, that isn't too harsh, and I love how it can dim or get brighter without getting up from watching your favorite show. Brilliant product! I've never had a light that I could control from my phone. I wasn't sure I would really use it all that much, but I was wrong. I received my LEDVANCE lightbulb a few weeks ago and I've been waiting to leave a review till I could see how it worked and whether I used the features. I have to say, I am in love with this lightbulb. It was so easy to set up, and it only took a few minutes. It works with Siri which means I can control it with my voice or the HomeKit app. It's so easy to turn on and off and dim. You can set it to a certain percentage just by asking Siri to turn the light down to that percentage. This is really nice for when I only need a bit of light. I have this bulb in a slightly hard to reach spot. Before I had the bulb, I never used to lamp. Now, I use it every day. I definitely plan on getting a few more of these bulbs. Overall I really like the light and find it to be a quality product and something I do use daily. I found the set up to be a little frustrating as it was not responsive at first and did take a little longer then I had anticipated to get it functioning. The bulb itself seems to be lasting, even with my children playing around and having it on and off 50 times a day. I think it will prove to have good longevity and I am happy I tried it out. I will be replacing lights in some other rooms with this same brand now that I have had a chance to see the quality and would recommend it without hesitation. This was my first time using a smart bulb. The light itself was great. The fact that is was dimmable was also a huge plus. Since we were just trying this out in one room to start, I would say it wasn't as seamless as I know it could be if our whole home used these. You can group bulbs by rooms and control them through voice or the Apple Home app. This seems like it could really change the way you interact with lights in your home. The only drawback I see (and experienced at one point while using) was that adding another layer of control to your lights introduces another system that can fail. At one point I couldn't connect to the light through my mobile app and it became more of an inconvenience.
