SYLVANIA SRCD261, Portable CD Players with AM/FM Radio (Red)

This turned out to be a fantastic purchase. I bought 22 of these. Yep!! Some were champagne, black, and orange. All purchased as a donation to local HOSPICE. So naturally, I had to operationally check out each boombox function before presenting these as a gift to my HOSPICE coordinator. All 22 units worked just fine. All had great sound generation. And, the operation was easy to understand. These will make a great gift to HOSPICE, or to anyone giving one to a family member, or friend.

I got this for my daughters surprise "90's" birthday party. Orange is her favorite color. I had a friend who bought some 90's CD's to play at her party. She absolutely loved it!!! And it has the ability to play from her phone and MP3 player. Thanks!!

works well, but before you try to play a CD, be sure to remove the piece of cardboard in the CD compartment...I at first thought it didn't work, but finally noticed it!

This was perfect for my technically inclined 5 year old. I wanted him to be able to put in his own music and he is able to. This is a simple unit with no bells or whistles. Just plays cds and the radio.

Bought this so I could play my CD collection in whatever room of the house I pleased. Sound quality is decent and it's well worth the money. Haven't tried it on battery but works well plugged in and is small enough to easily move around. The only complaints I have is that the symbols on the various buttons are the same colour as the body and extremely tiny, so are hard to see. Won't be a problem once I've used it often enough to know which button does what. Also, when sliding the switch to turn the CD part off, I frequently accidentally turn the radio on. Not a major problem, just a comment.

I like the radio and it serves the purpose it was intended for. My only issue is that the on/off/radio/CD small button is in the back. You have to be careful you don't push it too far or you'll get CD instead of FM radio. My favorite station comes in clear (better than most expensive radios) and the CD player works great. All in all, it was a great purchase.

It's a little less than what I expected. It's ok for just a radio and if you don't care much about the music it's self- no base, no way to control it. It's slow changing songs/tracks. And doesn't display the time of the song/ book your listening to. It's basic. But does a simple job, if you want some tunes/ white noise while your busy in the kitchen or tinkering in the garage.

This thing was a piece of junk! Upon arrival, I was so excited because my old cd player was not working. I even tore up the receipt! I went to try it out. Nothing happened. I read the instructions, still, nothing happened. Every time I pressed play, it just read No on the screen. This thing is horrible. Cheap. Do not buy it!

For all CDs the player skips over portions of the music about every couple of minutes. It is defective. I bought two of them and they both do it. I threw away all the mailing and purchase information but have kept the boxes. Please advise.

The online description says that it has an output jack, but it doesn't. I ordered this because I needed one that had a headphone jack. Now I can't use it.
