Choices are very limited for a 27 or 28 inch smart TV. This one is pricey but does work well for an RV install. Sound and picture are representative of input. The sound and picture can be very good or not good depending on the signal and source.
We needed a small TV for our bathroom shelf. This is the perfect size and has a bright, clear picture. The sound isn't top quality, but it is fine for our needs.
easy setup, the picture is great. I had to add additional apps, but very easy to install via my wifi. the only thing is the dvd player doesnt have any eject buttons. everything is run by the remote.
I installed this tv in 10 minutes. Set up was easy. Works perfectly. A great deal for the money.
The picture quality is great, set up easy and love, love, love that the disc player is attached to the backside of the tv, no extra cables, etc. It's the small things in life.....

Clear picture and okay sound (not bad at all, as noted in other reviews). I really like this little TV. I keep it on a shelf in my bedroom close to my chair, so it's the perfect size. I bought it because of the built in DVD player. I took off one star because the sound and picture quality isn't as good on DVDs. I paired my Bluetooth earbuds (easy to do), and that helped. The regular TV sound is loud and an external speaker is not needed. I didn't have any of the issues other reviewers mentioned. Picture is really good too. If the DVD option fails eventually, I'll buy an external one and attach it to one of the hdmi ports. I'll be keeping this TV.
1st complaint is the poor sound quality. It sounds like voices are coming from a tin can. My 2nd complaint is the Google operating system is not user friendly and not everything you'd expect is available. You cannot download the Spectrum cable app to use you cable tv subscription. 3rd complaint is they did not provide the mounting screws, they are a small odd size. Including 4 screws would have been convenient.
I haven't installed it yet. The TV doesn't respond to the remote control. Sylvox customer service promised TWICE over a week to replace the remote control. No shipping notification. They didn't make me jump thru hoops, they just promised to replace it. Maybe I've been communicating with chatbots. Are crooked foreign chatbots more sneaky and nefarious than crooked American chatbots? Sylvox is not a well known brand. which makes pairing it with a universal remote harder. Sylvox has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. The TV was shipped from Florida even though it was made in China and the warehouse is in CA. FL is notorious for boiler room scam operations. My friend needed a small basic TV. to fit her space. Does anybody make small basic TV's? I'm installing it at her house. She's been without a TV for two weeks and counting. A working TV from a garage sale would have been better. It is marketed as an outdoor TV for RVs and boats. Maybe they would be older, not tech-savvy and easier to swindle. Being lied to by customer service is a new experience for me. If the warehouse doesn't send replacements that would be a policy.
Installed in our RV seemed fine but after a few days it keeps shutting off every few minutes. Very displeased, we are on extended trip with out tv.
