My son loves it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is just about the age to change to a convertible car seat. This car seat is great as it will last her until she is ready for a booster when she's older. Pro: love how easy it is to adjust the straps on the car seat with her in it! Love the look and how comfortable it looks I can rear face my daughter easily She sits very comfortably in it. Latch hooks are easy to find and install Straps don't tangle up Con: Still wish the latch belt was easier to adjust to the car. Can be a struggle at times but I haven't found a car seat that isn't ! Over all would buy this again and recommend to my family and friends.
I've had this seat for about 3 years..and my daughter loves it and almost 5yrs old. I had to replace another seat that didn't recline enough for me and her head would flop around when she fell asleep. Its so big and comfy for her. My only fault is the anchor belt really is not long enough to strap to the seat. The cup holders also do not hold anything well. I also paid way more for it a few years ago, this price is a steal. The bottles fall out, capri suns etc. I wouldn't recommend this for an infant however. I used a infant car seat with a base until my daughter was old enough and grew out her infant seat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the good stuff. Style-wise and value-wise I think this is a great product. It's our 6th car seat to use (between loaners and purchases in the past) and an encouraging quote from my 6-year-old, "I like this seat the best of all my seats." I like the way it looks, the stylish but neutral colors, the double cup holders, and the way my child fits in it. All closures, straps, and materials seem elegant and high quality while offering a feeling of safety. I did find it hard to get used to the harness straps tightening from the bottom, instead of over the shoulder, but I'm adjusting. Second - the mediocre stuff. Although it's her "favorite", I initially put my child in the seat while she wore a jacket with a hood. She's, um, 'sensitive' to environmental things, and started getting really bothered by how the headrest area protruded further than the back of the seat and it felt like the back of her head was being pushed forward. I moved her hood, tucked it out of the way, and hoped for the best. Haven't heard about it since but I do find it curious that this area is proud of the rest of the back. Maybe it's by design. Anyway, it's no longer an issue but thought I'd mention it. The other mediocre thing is 2 part - the LATCH connectors. First, regardless of brand, I find these connectors convenient but often terrible to manage. I have no issues with hand or body strength (5'10", 165 lb relatively fit male) and I cannot imagine trying installing this with little hand / upper body strength and feeling like it did it correctly. Maybe the straps have to be that way for safety but they do not flow well through the clips and certainly do not remove easily if I ever have to remove the car seat. Forget letting grandparents borrow and install in their vehicle without me helping. Secondly, because the cup holder area is considerably wider than the base, and the way the LATCH cinches, I could not tighten the straps by pulling by the side of the car seat. The strap simply wouldn't tighten. Once connected to the LATCH mount of the car, I had to snake the belt back through the inside of the seat and get it out through where the child's bottom would be.Only then was the pulling angle sympathetic to the LATCH cinch maintaining grip on the belt. Might be something to consider. Lastly the bad stuff - This car seat/brand is not alone in this. Something needs to be done to improve the clarity and ease of use of the installation instructions. Some bullet points: -Most parents are terrified we're installing it wrong so we go into this with some trepidation and want to leave it feeling confident (I have rarely felt totally safe and just sorta tried to tell myself I did the best I could). -Having to jump back and forth in the instructions is disorienting and feels wrong. -Once the seat is installed (forward facing), and you're using the instructions, I'm pretty sure there's no way to return them to the storage area on the seat, which is what is recommended practice. -Perspective in some of the illustrations creates ambiguity. In one illustration, I couldn't tell what strap was in front of / behind another. -Maybe I'm overthinking this, and maybe these modern seats are so safe that installation is basically minutiae, don't know. Thought I'd relate my experience. -All installation instructions I've seen for car seats (I hate to say) feel like an afterthought. The product is so nice and new and safe, you want the installation instructions to match such high brand identity.
We have used this for several months now, and our daughter falls asleep in it all the time. It fits super well in our SUV and is very easy to clean. Love all the adjustable settings to make it a perfect fit for our daughter. It assures me that she is safe. I am so happy with this seat and glad we chose it after weeks of looking.
Was a huge upgrade for my daughter from her last car seat! Very spacious and comfortable. The 2 cup holders could be a little deeper though.
The Evenflo Symphony Sport car seat seems to be very well made and safe. My daughter says it's more comfortable than the seat this one replaced, and she loves that it has cup holders. It was easy to install safely and securely.
This is a pretty basic car seat. I must say that I was a little disappointed with the install... it was not easy to cinch the seat it tightly in a rear facing position. It took me about 45 mins to get it to the point where I trusted the tightness to put my child in it. Might be a bit of a design flaw with the system but the angle to pull the strap tight did not work well since it is right by the side of the seat where the cup holders come out. I also am used to the higher end evenflo models but we purchased this as a second seat. I believe you get what you pay for and this was a much cheaper option and it showed. I hope it's easier to install as forward facing the next time. I would not really recommend this seat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The car seat wouldn't stay put. My child moved from one side to the other. I had friends come help me install and they couldn't figure it out either.
