Excellent Product!!!

Couponholly March 21, 2013

After looking around for several months, we decided to buy this cabinet. I could not be happier, the product EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS! For the price point we were looking for, this cabinet was definitely the best. Assembly was easy & I love the protective coating on it. Another plus was the styling of the cabinet, the inlaid grooves are a very nice touch. I rarely can say that I'm completely satisfied with my purchases, but in this case I was EXTREMELY HAPPY!!!!

A great find!

Karenemountains September 20, 2013

Internet search for storage unit in my laundry room, to eliminate open shelves, showed me lots of options for at least $200, some without shipping. Finally found this unit on eBay, and looked up the manufacturer only to discover the unit was priced the lowest of anywhere and anything else I'd seen. What's more, shipping to my door was free, and for a 150# unit, that's saying something. If I had shipped it to the store, ours at least will put anything like that together and you can pick it up already made for no charge...but my building this cabinet was extremely simple. The unit is solid, sturdy, everything I needed and more. With the comps I found, they could charge more, and it would be worth it. One more thing...thank you to all those who wrote earlier reviews, as I almost ordered something different and more expensive but the reviews for this were raves, and the other one didn't get anything close. That's why I decided to write one, too. Just measure carefully and you'll be happy with the unit. I have it set up on the floor, not using the legs, and it looks like a built-in. Nice!!!

This type of cabinet was not new to me as I have assembled many pieces of furniture previously. There are a couple of more challenging areas, mainly mounting the doors to the cabinet. This would seem very straight forward but there are some little tips that really would assist anyone new to this. One is to separate all the hardware pieces - screws, brackets, etc. I used a cupcake pan as everything is separate but easily carried to the work site. One of the other areas that looked simple but became a challenge was putting the door mounts into the pieces on the side of the cabinet. There is a little curved catch that must be hooked first then pushed down to lock. As these are adjusting hinges it works best to not fully tighten the screws in the hinge part on the cabinet until the door hinge parts have been attached. (Notice that the screws do not wind all the way to the top allowing the movement of the hinge. Then tighten & position for height & closeness of the doors.) It took us a few tries to master the principle but it was fast going after that. One of the doors was scuffed on the front edge in shipping so I emailed the company with the part number and received an prompt answer. A new door arrived at the house in about four days. I have order several more cabinets to finish the project, If you are concerned about the cardboard back I would pick up some light weight plywood etc at the hardware store. They cut it for me & it was not expensive. I have used the original backing and it worked fine for my pantry/laundry room also. This would depend on how often you intend to move the cabinets around.

looks good from afar

anglin January 8, 2014

I searched all over the internet for a laundry room cabinet 12" x 36" by 72". This was the closest I came to in that size. I had to cut the wall edge of every piece to get it down to the 12" depth. I knew that when I bought it. I had to relocate the 4 feet because my reducing the depth would have taken out the back feet. I would have had to adjust them anyway because the original location of the feet wouldn't work because of the wall's shoe molding would have hit. The unit also came damaged. Luckily the damage was on the edge that I was cutting off anyway. The previous reviews did say it uses a thin cardboard backing which is fine but the doors have a huge gap that I could not adjust to a smaller one. The doors were easy to attach and the soft close feature was nice. All together, it does look a whole lot better that the 70's metal shelving it replaced. Just from afar..

Very good product for the price.

rehabnut February 6, 2014

I needed an extra cabinet for my kitchen and could not find a 36 in wide double door cabinet for a reasonable price. For the money, I am very pleased with this one! A lot heavier than I expected. I assembled it myself but would strongly suggest this be done by at least 2 people.

Nice large cabinet for the price

homeshopper8564 November 26, 2013

We purchased this cabinet for extra storage/pantry in our laundry room. It is very spacious and tall, but yet fits nicely in a smaller area. The one thing to keep in mind is that the bottom needs to be weighted down as it is wobbly when it is empty. Also, the back is basically cardboard. The back side of our came damaged with two holes in the top that were messed up like it was packaged badly. My husband was going to request a replacement, but he wanted to put some re-chargable electrical items on the top shelf so he need holes there for the cord anyway. It shipped very quickly even though we didn't opt to pay extra to ship it sooner. It looks nice and the doors have a feature that enables them to close automatically if you just swing the door and it closes the remainder of the way on its own.

Perfect for garage storage

MLO21673 August 14, 2016

I put this together by myself in about an hour using just a Phillips head screwdriver. Directions were clear and everything came together nicely. Likes - nice, wipable finish is perfect when you have gross dogs like I do - adjustable shelves are great for accommodating different sized baskets and bins - sturdy feet keep it off our damp concrete floor Wishes - I wish the top piece was the armor coat finish on both sides - I wish the pieces had been more clearly labeled - I wish the back piece was sturdier Overall I'm in love with how it looks next to my mudroom door.

Ordered before

A1235 December 24, 2013

I ordered one of these units before....I loved the product. So I ordered 3 more for various place and usage. One cabinet was delivered in perfect condition. The other 2 were delivered severely damaged. This is so frustrating as the unit is heavy and not easy to send back :(

Great product, several dents, hard to balance

Sage7108 June 10, 2014

The product is great and certainly more affordable than any others that I have found at the same size. However it had several dents when shipped. I dealt with it, because they are manageable and I didn't have time to send it off for a replacement. The doors were nearly impossible to shut evenly. I finally had to extend the feet in the back all the way up in order to get it to close, and the doors still do not line up correctly, even with adjustments made to the hinges.

Arrived Broken

Joy April 12, 2013

I was highly anticipating receiving this cabinet only to be disappointed. When I opened the box one of the doors were split in two. I am going to re-order and this time ship to the store instead of my home and hopefully it will not be broken when I receive it.
