Systembuild Evolution Westford 54" Garage Storage Wall Cabinet, Black Oak

These upper cabinets are perfect for garage/basement storage! They could easily work for laundry room storage as well! We are building a new house and my husband wanted something for both the basement and garage. We opted for these so we could add on if needed/wanted!! The design of these cabinets is simple but You get a lot of space for your dollar! The handle is solid and sturdy. These will work great in the new garage to hold (and hide) all of those items that never seem to have a home! Assembly was painless, and took about an hour. We will def be coming back for other pieces of this collection!

I've put my fair share of economical cabinets and furniture together, and the quality of this cabinet surprised me. Since the intended use is for garage storage/organization, I was expecting something more durable and rugged. This cabinet is very cheaply made - very brittle particle board, the “laminate” is more of a sticker that rips and scratches easily, the pieces don't line up as they should during construction, and the hardware included for construction is cheap and unreliable. I ended up reinforcing the entire cabinet with 1x4's I spray painted to match the cabinet, and secured it to my garage wall at the studs. After reading reviews on other sites, the particle board “cleat” system designed for this cabinet failed on multiple occasions. I wasn't willing to risk a brand new garage cabinet falling off the wall. If I had to do it all over again, I would have purchased cabinets from the “big box” Swedish store that's painted blue and yellow. Their quality is far more superior and price wise, it would have been about the same if not cheaper than this cabinet.

The Cabinet end boards were drilled wrong so the cabinet couldn't be assembled. Good thing I am handy and have a drill press. I had to spend a few hours re drilling and making sure everything would fit right.

Super easy to assemble. Love this cabinet. We are using this on a top shelf that was built in the garage to store tools so they are not out in the open and we have space to put items behind it so they aren't seen either.

I can't wait to get this cabinet hung in my laundry room! It provides perfect storage! Easy to build and looks great! Second time purchasing these cabinets for storage....can never have enough!

Good quality, great for a garage!
