Exactly what my gran's chicken paprikash needed (along with smoked paprika). She's long gone but I know she would approve.

Love the flavor. Easy to use can. Can use on whatever you want. Only complaint is it was not sprinkling easily out of the can .

I've been using this for years and years for my Chicken Goulash. It's more-than-average spicy in the chili-flavor department. If you like things hot-hot, which I do, you'll love it. However, for some reason, the order I placed was not filled by the supplier, and when I went to fill it again, the prices had gone up to ridiculous - like 4 times as much. I can't afford the curent prices for this product. When I was able to buy it at the supermarket, it cost about $3 a can.

I was shocked to discover that some well-regarded spice sellers in the country were marketing "Hot Hungarian Paprika" that was essentially just regular domestic paprika with a dash of cayenne pepper added. Having had the pleasure of visiting Hungary multiple times and savoring its cuisine and culture, I can attest that Szeged Paprika is the genuine article. When I prepare dishes like goulash or chicken paprikash, I carefully blend the Szeged hot and sweet paprika to achieve the precise flavor profile I desire.

I never opened the container

I still have not received my complete order I ordered celery seeds and still haven't received them.

I really can't say if the product is good or not as I've not used it, but my review reflects the packaging. It was shipped in an envelope and one side of the plastic cover was partially dislodged as a few others have reported as well. While very little spilled out, mostly like dust, this is not a good way to ship a product such as this and now I have to wonder if it's safe to use or not. There is a protective hard plastic seal that was still folded down, but given the container top was slightly dislodged and I could pull it up on that side exposing the contents how do I know someone didn't tamper with it? This was very likely caused by using an envelope that provides no support from other packages landing on top of it. Just dumb.
