T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware, Fry Pan with Lid, 12 Inch, Grey

I have never claimed to be a cook, let alone a chef. However, I do like making my own scrambled eggs, special recipes of chili, and sloppy Joe's. My old electric frying pan was barely able to execute the simplest task, and it was obvious why. It was uneven heat transfer which was easy to spot due to the terrible "ring of fire," as I termed it. The heating element was a visible ring which was plainly displayed, especially when cooking something thin. So, I began my typical searching and researching on the Internet. So many choices! Wal-Mart, as always, had a huge array of cookware, both in single pieces and in sets. Yes, ladies, I am one guy who actually reads ALL of the directions in anything I buy. So, I seasoned this excellent pan and plan to repeat the simple procedure every 10th time I use it. I especially like the glass lid with the hole for steam to escape. I know that this heavy Deep Sauté Pan can accommodate metal utensils, and washing in my dishwasher. Nevertheless, I prefer washing and drying it by hand and using some excellent high-heat utensils I bought for it. Just a few hours ago, I made some simply superb grilled cheese sandwiches that were good enough to appear in a magazine. Yeah, for a stumbling non-cook, I am allowed to brag a bit. Some caveats: I have never found it necessary to use excessively high heat with this pan. It warms quickly and cooks beautifully with no more than medium or less heat. Also, this pan is slippery on the outside, too. Be careful and hold onto it when you are using it! Not a bad thing, since it makes cleaning it a 2 or 3 minute job. I am now considering replacing the Revere Ware pots and pans, used by my late mother, with all T-Fal cookware. Using this pan gives me the same satisfaction using any Snap-On tool does when I work on a car: heavy, sturdy, and built to last a lifetime! As I have said before, "Buying just something that is Ok is a guarantee of eventual disappointment. Spending a little more is an investment in and for the future! Nicely done, T-Fal!

i just have been using for week now definitely nothing sticks ,only thing i dont like is if im using any oil it all slides to the edges ??? dont know if thats normal because of non stick just seems unnatural to me for a flat pan. grandpa John

Great fry pan. The lid is a great for reducing spatter. No stcking and very easy clean up. I would highly recommend this product.

So far we really like it. Replaced a heavy non-stick pan. This pan is lighter and easier to lift, hold and wash. Food heats evenly and non-stick works good.

after spending ridiculous amounts of money on expensive pans that didn't last, i thought this would be worth trying. it has a good weight to it, and the non-stick part works perfectly. this was a great value for money, so it's definitely worth looking at when you need one.

Well made. Cooks evenly. Don't know how long it will last yet, but seems much sturdier than the none stick pan it replaced.

This is the best non-stick pan I have ever bought. It has no plastic. 100% metal. It is a breeze to clean, even when left to sit overnight.
