TABASCO BRAND Original BBQ Sauce, 18 oz

I purchased this sauce today, having never been a Tabasco enthusiast (Im usually not that good with spice), and was surprised at how balanced the spice and sweet are. There s the perfect blend between heat and sweet, and as someone who usually hates spice, I love this sauce.

If you like spice, then this is the spicy barbecue sauce for you! Love it on grilled chicken and vegetables! Hot sauce lovers rejoice because this one has a good kick.

Being on a "popular" weight loss program, I am always looking for something to zest up meats. Tabasco had 4 new BBQ sauces. I tried the Tabasco Jalapeño Mesquite BBQ sauce on my 99% ground turkey burger. First, it smelled great. Then the serving size of 2 Tbsp is plenty for a burger. I dipped the burger into the sauce and it was delicious. i thought theJalapeño would be hot, well it wasn't. It was flavorful, smoky and added the necessary moisture with that Tabasco tang. Tabasco's jalapeño mesquite BBQ sauce has a sweet taste at first. Then there are notes of heat that Tabasco is known for. The heat comes at the backend, but is not overpowering. I tried it with chicken nuggets and it complimented the nuggets well. I would buy this product again.

I am a fan of Tabasco's original pepper sauce so it was worth giving this BBQ sauce a try. Unfortunately I am not a fan. It is hard to describe the flavors. The underlying BBQ sauce has a hard to describe after taste. On top of that is the somewhat strong jalapeño pepper taste. It might be ok as a baste and being cooked down and the sugar caramelized, but as an add on sauce it leaves something to be desired. there must be paid reviews because this doesn't have much a mesquite taste, no jalapeño taste at all or heat..taste like a cheap plain BBQ sauce..

Not that great. Tastes mainly like sugar. No flavor of Jalapeno or Mesquite at all

this review was collected as part of a promotion and the opinions are my own. my honest opinion is I really didn't like the Tabasco honey BBQ sauce. It personally wasn't hot enough for me. I chose this sauce thinking its a lil hot like Tabasco. maybe better luck with another flavor.
