Although it is the same size as the old one and fit perfectly into the existing space, the interior layout is much better organized and has more capacity. All the shelves were easily adjusted to our needs. We needed a white appliance to fit in with our kitchen decor and the rest of our appliances. It was hard to find a white model with the features we wanted. Most models are now stainless steel. This one is perfect for us. It is efficient and very quiet. The quality is excellent and we look forward to many years of service, as we have always gotten with our Whirlpool appliances.

Our builder had already picked this out for us and to say we are thrilled is an understatement. Whirlpool has really thought out the design of this fridge, from the bottom mount freezer with a very secure handle (other brands handles fall off), to the pull out second shelf in the freezer, the fabulous fridge drawer to access food etc without opening the fridge doors not to mention the amount of room in the entire fridge and to top it all off the ice crushed or cubed choice and the fact that you can choose to dispense a measured amount of water - all absolutely outstanding!! (Run on sentence but needless to say we LOVE our new fridge).

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The fridge for some reason is always set to extreme cold even when I raised the temperature up, the items in the back shelf keep freezing. This fridge really proved itself during a power outage. The power went out for 18 hours and everything inside was still nice and cold for the entire time. Note that I did not open the fridge once during the outage.

We are happy with the fridge and I love Whirlpool products but from what we are used to, the freezer top shelf doesn't come out when you open the door and there is more frost build in the freezer than the one we replaced which isn't much, just comparing as our old one had none. Also, there is a styrofoam filled hole that reflects off the top of the drawer that I can't unsee. And less room inside the fridge compared to what I was used to. It has been working great with no issues at all. I would continue to recommend Whirlpool products!! Love Whirlpool!!

I bought this fridge from Home Depot Canada in March 2021 and noticed that the metal strip on the right hand middle shelf is coming off. It started happening within a few weeks of owning this fridge and it won't stay in place. Now its all warped and won't go back in place. See picture below. This should be covered under warranty would appreciate it if someone from Whirlpool got back to me with a solution here. Functionally the fridge works fine but I feel for the amount of money I spent on this fridge it should stand up a lot better aesthetically than it has been so far. Again the fridge is only 2 months old.

Customer service was a nightmare going in endless loops trying to find a human to speak to cause “broken out of the box” was never an option. Exceedingly frustrating and would not consider another whirlpool appliance based on this experience.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After 10 months of having a brand new refrigerator, this one stopped freezing. Working with the service people at Whirlpool is like pulling teeth. After four on site visits and 16 hours of onsite service from a third-party including the pain and suffering, they finally decided to replace our refrigerator. This was a horrible experience and I don't want anyone else to have to go through it.
