Ok budget tablet got this for my neice for her birthday thought she could use it for the upcoming school year.. Can with a generic case, but no screen protector you would need to get one of those on your own.
This tablet is huge! i love the big screen it has and love that it came with a case. connected to wifi very easily %26 works perfectly!
Its very quick and the specs match as advertised on memory, storage, and other features. It comes with a protective case and an actual charging block which is a huge bonus. the only issue i had with it is a chipped glass defect between the screen and digitizer. See picture. It does feel cheap.
This arrived packaged well and in a nice box with a USB charger and USB-C cable. The manual provides the basic information about Android devices, but some of the specifics about this particular tablet and the OS overlay or UI used for the ROM isn't mentioned or explained. Evidence of the altered ROM can be seen in the software update screen with notes in improper English. I ran a couple diagnostic tools on the tablet and the camera, mic, speakers, wifi radio, and bluetooth radio all passed successfully. The processing speed is noticeably slower than you'd expect for 32GB of RAM, so it's likely the processor is inferior - as well as the RAM quality. The touchscreen isn't especially sensitive even though there is no screen protector on it, but it also comes with a silicone protective case with good corner protection. Accessing the Google Play Store was easy with a valid account. I entered 'developer mode' and changed the three animation settings to 'none', which usually gives a sense of greater speed. I also installed a launcher called Niagara for a sleeker, cleaner look and better app access. It seems it will be okay for an e-reader, some basic browsing of internet, email, and social media interaction. It lagged a bit when attempting any games. The price point is higher than other tablets with the same specs, and I'm not happy with custom ROMs from China - some files were noted by Malwarebytes as 'malicious', requiring further research and/or removal. For all of these reasons, I wouldn't recommend this particular tablet.
