Great for home projects. I used it to hem Roman shades.

Great value but with limitations. Speed adjustment is not variable; it is either painfully slow or so fast you can't see what you are doing. It does not appear to have the skip-stitch feature that most of these machines offer meaning that there is absolutely no way of adjusting the space between stitches. Of the two Allan wrenches needed for basic set up, one fit well but there was none for the other nut holding the tall thread guide. Cute that it came with two screwdrivers and several other tools, but I'd rather have had the correct ones and skip the extras. Overall, my advice would be to spend a few dollars extra to get a better thought out machine.

First the thread post would not fasten tight. The threads did not connect to make a stitch. Did not meet my expectations. I returned it.

This sewing machine did not come with a instruction manual so i can know how to use it.

The belt will fall off due to a defective holder which isn't glued but pushed into place (not very secure). Constant speed pushes it off resulting in the belt losing track. I had to glue the holder in place... not the best idea, especially if you need to change the belt later on.

I have ordered a new machine but received defective with missing parts. This item was return by another customer. I will never buy from the supplier or through from Walmart on line or not recommend to anyone.
