I've really missed the spicy Oriental scents of the late 1970s and 1980s onward. Most of them have been reformulated to lighter scents and I've been disappointed in my attempts to find a match. Then I saw a recommendation for Tabu, one I remember from years ago. Ratings were good so I took a chance. It arrived today and I was surprised at the large bottle size. It's a pretty bottle, sprays easily. With a slightly sharp top note, it mellows to a warm, sweet scent. After an hour, it has settled into a very pleasant Oriental with a hint of cloves and patchouli, sweet yet strongly scented. I do miss the Christmas-like cinnamon of Cinnabar, but this is a great substitute! ( I did apply lightly by spraying 1 spritz on my wrist and rubbing the other wrist against it.) Totally adequate, so this bottle will last a long time in the original box, placed in my bedside table drawer where it is protected from light. I am pleased. What a great value!

Funny story. When I was in high school, a few people wore this, but not many. I wasn't interested in it, but I heard guys saying how they loved it. After all this time, I decided to give it a try, as it is not expensive. First spray was pretty bad. Smelled like alcohol or hair spray. As the day wore on, the fragrance evolved into this smoky, mysterious, hypnotizing scent. I gave it the three day test. There is something captivating about it. It is definitely a polarizing scent, you either love it or hate it. But you have to give it a chance. There is a reason it has been around so long. Hard to describe, kind of heavy, spicy, amber, musky. Best for winter. Stays on for a long time. Do not over spray, it is strong!

I have worn Tabu for many, many years. I spray it on in the early morning, in the evening I am still getting many compliments of how good my perfume smells. Tabu is an older perfume. Sometimes people pass me, then come back and ask me "I know that perfume, what is it?" The reason I ordered it this way is because the Walmart I work for quit carrying it. I always bought two bottles there for 18 years. Thank you

Woodsy scent, long lasting. Not wishy washy. A lovely, woodsy, musky scent that is very appealing and alluring. I got this because of the online, Walmart reviews. I am delighted with it. This time, rather than going out and looking for testers, trying on several products, and driving myself crazy trying to select "the one", I just went with four stars and online reviews/recommendations. I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. Also. I believe this is perfect as a Unisex Scent. That is pretty important these days, I think.

I met Tabu several years ago and fell in Love with the fragrance Immediately,I stopped using it for several years and just recently got reacquainted with it,(lol,lol)the fragrance is still Magnificent,Love it,we will never part again,definitely recommend trying😃😃😃😃

I had been looking for this scent for a while . Most places didn't have this. So I was so happy to find out Walmart sold it. I love the fragrance and it last on you for a long time.And people comment about the smell which is an added plus!! I appreciate Walmart having my scent from the past.

I used to wear this scent years ago, but frequently tried other scents. (I'm not sure why... maybe I thought new, trendy scents would be better?) When looking for a new scent recently, I saw this and was instantly reminded of how much I loved it. This scent is soft, warm, and a little spicy. It doesn't last as long as I remember, but that's just a scent concentration difference, nothing to do with the product itself. (Since this is an eau de cologne it's not going to last as long as a perfume.) Apparently, this one is timeless, because I still love it and I'm glad I discovered it again.

It was given to me as a gift 45yrs ago I've tried different scents more expensive colognes %26 perfumes., but Tabu is and has always been my ace in the hole as long as it' remains (and I hope that's always)I will continue to buy it and use it if it's ever discontinued I don't k ow what I'd do. It's always my first choice.

product is all good. the problem was that I could not locate it near me. First i went to 1 store to pick it up from a online order . They change my product to something different because they didnt have it. waste of time for me. found it at a different locate.
