Very retro taffeta with an iridescent sheen…
It's absolutely beautiful! It's a grape shade of purple, with an iridescent bluish sheen. Reminds me of the 60's taffeta they used to call shark skin. GORGEOUS.

Small amount of stretch. Nice sheen, not slippery.
There's only a little stretch to this fabric side to side with more up and down. There's a nice sheen. It's slightly stiff, as expected.

Looks and feels lovely.
The texture and appearance are lovely. The stretch is not as stretchy enough. I bought this to make coverings for my sectional sofa, but needed to add elastic for the needed stretch. Overall, I am content with this fabric and recommend it
