I was looking for a good alternative from takeout %26 truly enjoy this fried rice. It only takes 4 minutes to prepare which is fantastic when you're in a hurry. Also, the texture and flavor are spot on. The veggies included with the chicken really give this more authentic taste.
The best frozen fried rice I've been able to find. No it does not taste like the fried rice you get from the Chinese restaurant but it's has a good blend of rice, veggies and protein to give you a good balance. And I like to add a Minute cup of jasmine rice to it and a bit of butter, pepper and soy sauce.
These rice entrées are delicious. And very convenient to use when you're hungry and you don't wanna cook a full meal. I have three different kinds in my freezer right now. I don't run out of them. The rice is cooked. Perfect. The chicken is tender the peas and carrots that's in it. They're done and tasty.
Amazing little lunch! 5 minutes worth of microwave and wait, and it's good to go. I put a little of the good Panda's orange sauce in there and it was amazing! Good sized pieces of chicken, nice and full of peas and carrots, I was honestly impressed at how nice it looked! Perfect amount for a lunch at work!
These things are so yummy!! I mean it's a frozen meal but if you know what you're doing then you will forever be addicted to these. I add two dashes of liquid coconut aminos (I prefer that over soy sauce because the taste is better and wayyyy less sodium), some yum yum sauce and a couple dashes of sriracha. I'll take it over paying $30 for a hibachi meal honestly. Especially because I live in the middle of nowhere and can just make it at home. The portion is plenty for one maybe two people, texture is great and taste is perfect, I highly recommend.
This brand of Chinese Food is excellent. I love, not only the flavor, but also the packaging. They take up little space in frig and they are perfect if you take your lunch. The fit well in the lunch bag and hit up really fast. The chicken tastes great and the overall flavor is tasty.
I am honestly surprised by how much I enjoy this Tai Pei Chicken Fried Rice. It's become my favorite "emergency" lunch because it actually tastes fresh—the rice isn't mushy, the chicken is tender, and the veggies still have a bit of a snap to them. I love that it steams right in the container, so you don't end up with those weird dry spots you get with other frozen meals, and the flavor is savory without being overly salty. It's the perfect size for a satisfying meal when I'm in a rush, and it's way more convenient (and affordable) than ordering from the local spot. If you need a quick, reliable Asian entrée to keep in your freezer, this one is a total winner!
I alternate this one with the shrimp fried rice. I've been in Florida for 31 years and have not been able to find a Chinese restaurant fried rice compared to what I had in NYC restaurants. I never thought a frozen product could be so good and am glad I tried this one.
These are so easy to make for dinner. I'm disabled so I'm not always able to cook and these are cheap and pretty dang good. You may want to add soy sauce because it is a bit bland but I like it without as well. I find that there's enough chicken to rice ratio also
This used to be great fried rice, tasted like restaurant fried rice. NOT ANY MORE, kinda yuck. TOO MUCH corn, the "oyster sauce" is not a winner. Too many veggies for chicken fried rice. And the texture/consistency is wrong, in my opinion, for "fried rice".
