Tai Pei General Tso's Chicken, 12 oz

My husband likes to buy these in bulk and have them on hand to throw in his lunch box for work. This is one of his favorites!

For a frozen meal, this selection is outstanding. While I wasn't surprised that the meal contained more veggies than chicken chunks, as is the case with most frozen meals, I was really surprised at the ample overall portion of the entrée and the perfect heat and seasonings in the sauce. For the price, you can't go wrong! I will be buying this again.

I stumbled upon this product a week or so ago, and bought it because I had never heard of it before. It absolutely exceeded all of my expectations; it is restaurant quality, has simple and easy preparation, and has ideal portion sizes.

I really was surprised as I tasted this dish. It didn't seem like I was eating a frozen entre, the flavor was fresh. I really enjoyed it and will definitely buy again.

love oriental cooking. tried this for 1rst. time 7/7/2015. will buy again. the best frozen pre made meal. flavor spot on, portions are great. am a diabetic this can be worked into my daily guidelines.

Great for a fast meal. But it is spicy

I love Tai Pei frozen meals, but Walmart #1140 does not carry all of the Tai Pei frozen meal line. Just to name one in particular, Tai Pei Kung Pao Chicken, Which Walmart #1140 could not keep on the shelf because it sold so well, took it off the shelf. I like the General Tso's Chicken, but I love the Kung Pao Chicken!

hmm with 3 small pieces of chicken, a few slices of veggies, not spicy (not even close), 80% rice. I've also ran into this with another Tai Pei product. I'm never buying another!

I bought this pure garbage because I didn't feel like cooking and to my surprise the first thing I saw was that there looked like there was only 8 ounces of food in the box not 14 as advertised on the box as it was a pint box and it was only filled half way up. Second there was only 4 very small pieces of chicken in my container the rest was mostly cheap rice and not worth the 3.00 I paid for this (2 bucks more I would have a much better serving and bigger one at a real Chinese take out). Third it was so spicy I nearly threw up I have had General Tso's, chicken from real Chinese restaurants and it isn't very spicy. I like to taste the chicken not only a box of pepper. In conclusion I want to say that anyone giving this garbage more than a couple stars (and it doesn't deserve any) doesn't know what real good Chinese food tastes like This is pure junk I will never buy it or any of this companies products again.
