Takama Aluminum 3-Section Tripod with 3-Way Head, 61" Max Height

I am a hobbyist photographer so I cant speak to professional needs but this tripod offered as part of a package is very functional for ordinary daily use. Its not one that I would want to take on an extended outdoors trek but its size and weight are fine for a day hike.

Nice... But will use it for something else than the K-1 it came with. To be rather frank, it is not a Manfrotto. Rating has to only be about 7lbs. I am not sticking $3k worth of gear on it. It is what it is... And 5 Stars for what it is built for. Sorry for the snobbish legs review. Watch the rating and you will be fine!

Haven?t had a chance to use the tripod yet, but it is sturdy and easy to set up and fold away. It is extraordinarily light weight yet stable. Unlike many inexpensive tripods, the locking mechanisms for the extendable legs really lock. This was a terrific buy!

I got this as part of a kit. This tripod does the job, but I wouldn't say it excels at anything in particular.

It is lightweight and easy to use. Doesn't really collapse down very small, but that doesn't bother me as I don't carry it around all the time.

this tripod is very light and stable!! I like the handle that makes it easy to transport as well. The only thing that isn't great is that the hook on the bottom of the tripod for a counterweight isn't that secure, and will break off if too much weight is applied.

Low price but decent quality. Nice extras you don't see in this price range. Bag, carry handle, bag hook. It is very light weight. Easy to set up and take down. Holds camera firmly. Dose not feel very rugged but it's not $ either. I think it was well worth the price.

THIS IS MY FIRST TRIPOD SO I HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO COMPARE IT TO. THAT BEING SAID - IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT - THE CAMERA IS SECURE WHEN ATTACHED TO THE CLIP - THE LEVEL SEEMS ACCURATE ENOUGH - ADJUSTING THE THE TRIPOD TO LEVEL ON UNEVEN GROUND WAS NOT HARD TO DO - FOR MY PURPOSES IT WORKS WELL. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THE CARRYING BAG THAT CAME WITH IT. IN JUST A FEW MINUTES OF ACTUAL USE ONE END OF THE STRAP TORE OFF OF BAG - i WILL BE LOOKING FOR A WAY TO SECURE THE TRIPOD TO MY CAMERA BAG - I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEAS ABOUT HOW TO DO THAT AT THE MOMENT. OH ONE OTHER THING - IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE CLIP ALLOWED ACCESS TO THE CARD AND BATTERY CHAMBER.

It's a super average tripod, suitable only for very basic use, but it was only $15! If you're looking for a cheap and nasty solution to keep your lightweight camera stable during shoots, then this is perfect. Don't expect to do any smooth pan/tilt shots with it.

Too much plastic - the tightness doesn't hold with much hands on camera use.

Recommended with a remote flash/shutter to minimize handing of any camera on the tripod head.

Not a favorite.Quality should be better. Amateur and potentially experience altering - not in a good way.

This tripod, bundled with the Sony RX 10 IV is nicely designed with a detachable base plate, leveling indicator, and other adjustments, but when I tried to crank up the center column, it would not move. Putting more force to the crank, I stripped the gearing on the crank as it was a weak set of plastic teeth while the center column was a milled aluminum bar on the aluminum center tube. It wasn't worth the effort to return it so it will go into the recycle bin.
