Takeya Pitcher 2qt Beverage Maker Twilight Blue

This is my first pitcher purchase ever and I can't believe I landed it the first try! This pitcher is very well designed; I can tell a lot of thought went into making this ergonomic and user friendly...dishwasher safe, durable plastic so nothing shatters, a screw-on lid that stays on when you pour, perfect size for a single person...super happy with my purchase!

I just purchased my 4th pitcher. It's for brewing shaken tea, and can tolerate high heat. Before I found this pitcher, I shattered several other pitchers that couldn't tolerate high temperatures.

The size is perfect, functions beautifully and love that I can see the contents. I have had these for several years and can't do without. They fit in the refrigerator door easily and are easy to clean.

I bought these pitchers as gifts for my family members after using them myself for months. We've always recycled milk jugs and such for our homemade beverages. These pitchers are soooooo much better than anything we've used before. Always great to be giving practical gifts they'll be using for years!

I already used a Takeya from 5-7 years ago, which cracked. I bought this new one to replace it, and was pleased that my old tea steeping basket does attach well to this lid, and Takeya has continued the slender cylinder design which fits into side fridge shelves well. I even love the color! Highly recommend.

Airtight as described and super durable. Bought this to store coffee in the fridge and it keeps my coffee fresh and tasting like it should. It holds a bit more than a full pot of coffee. I've laid the pitcher on it's side and have dropped it by accident and it still survives working super well. Love that it's dishwasher friendly. For the price, you can't beat this spillproof, airtight pitcher. Get you one.

Like this a lot. Ive already dropped it and it is unbreakable.Fits on refrigerator shelf perfectly. Just one slight downside. Because it is oval, not round on the bottom, it is rather unstable, especially when empty. As I said above, Ive already dropped it. But overall very well made.

Just what I needed to mix 2 quart drinks. The top is like that of a thermos in that it screws on rather than just being pushed into the pitcher. I also like the design, and it fits in the shelf on my refrigerator door. Not sure about the claim that you can store it sideways without any leakage, tho’.

This would be a great pitcher, the quality is nice but it's just way too tall for the refrigerator shelves! It would be nice to see the same design in a shorter, squatter version that would actually fit in the refrigerator like a gallon of milk does.

Works well. When fully closed, this pitcher doesn't leak. If not fully open when pouring, liquid goes everywhere. Fits in “tall” side door of my fridge.
