Pleased with the knitting needles!

countrylanecabin April 1, 2013

I have other Clover Bamboo needles that are in longer lengths. So, I was happy to find these in a shorter length, just right for knitting scarves & dishcloths. I like the comfortable feeling of bamboo & the yarn slides well off the needles as I knit. Knowing that Walmart has these needles on-line, I will be ordering more in the sizes & lengths I need to round out my needle supplies.

Great product

DaniCali September 4, 2013

I purchased these because the aluminum needles that I was using was just too slippery for my knitting project. These are lightweight and my stitches stay where they are supposed to and i am very happy with them. The price is hard to beat and I will eventually replace all my aluminum needles with these.

Knitting made easy!

Penelady March 18, 2013

These bamboo needles are great; so much easier to handle and the yarn does not slide so easily. I also recommend buying rubber caps to ensure stitches are not "dropped" when you put the item aside for a few moments.

Smooth and Practical

MusicAdmin August 25, 2014

Before purchasing this product, be aware that the sizes run smaller. My reason for ordering them was to replace my metal ones that are loud and questionable to use during a thunderstorm :P I put them side by side with one another and the wooden ones just aren't the same length. This might not matter to some, but it does to me since I knit a lot of shawls. I am not at all upset about this because I intend to buy more and will know better. You can never have too many knitting needles. They aren't noisy like metal ones and are smoother to work with. I like the feel of them in my hands, too. I always feel like I have to hold my metal ones tighter so they don't slip out of my hand when I have a good fast rhythm going. They are more easily inserted into loops also. I encourage everyone to switch from metal to these. It makes a huge difference.

Great needles to use if you have arthritis

knittingana September 26, 2013

The yarn does not slide off the needles and the bamboo is easy to use. These are the only type of knitting needles I use.

Bamboo needles are much easier to knit with especially in these smaller sizes. Smooth and easy to handle.

The best choice

lotsaknots December 29, 2016

I have never liked metal needles - too slippery and sometimes too heavy. The wooden needles I've tried aren't smooth enough. I finally tried the bamboo and they are exactly what a knitting needle should be...for me, at least. They're smooth but not slippery and they are so light they're a pleasure to work. The Clover is the only brand I've tried but I doubt any other could make them any better. I'll be replacing all my needles with Clovers, and that's not too hard to do since the prices are so affordable.

My OnLy CoMpLaInT iS-

I like the needles..They seem a LiTtLe DrY however... Also.. Wal-mart doesn't care the longer versions of the smaller needles.. I purchased sizes 7, 8, 9... 7 & 8 came at the 8" length & 9 came in the 13" length...I personally like the longer needles... So I suggest if you also like the Longer inch needles on the smaller sized needles; you'll have to find them elsewhere
