I've been using this gel for over 3 years and it's absolutely amazing, reliable and the formula has NOT changed! I use this gel to retwist my son's traditional locs, it doesn't leave any residue (as long as you don't use to much and keep it at the base of the loc) it washes out easily and it's sticky and waxy at all like other loc gels. I also use for my my faux locs and braids to smooth down any fly aways and protect my hair while wearing those styles. I do warn again have wet fingers or anything water like being dipped or left in this jar, it will grow mold and your lovely gel will be wasted so don't dip your wet finger in this jar then forget and close it up. let it air out before closing it! other than that I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and will continue to buy as long as I need too.

I love this gel. I use it to re-twist my locs, and it has a great hold. It smells wonderful and does not leave residue in my locs. When it is time to wash my hair, I use Dr. Bonners Pure-Castile Soap, and it comes out clean. You get a good amount for the price you pay. It also lasts a long time. I can get four or five re-twists out of the jar with my shoulder-length locs.

This styling gel is thick and holds hair in place. I don't like the feel of my hair after it drys, it feels dry and hard. My hair is fine and curly in texture, it weighs my hair down. It's good for straight styles not curls and has no smell no flakes but does look dull. Good for molding your hair in a style

The consistency was like jam or edge control. This is not hair gel like eco styler. The ingredients are great and the scent was ok. This was not what I was looking for.

The container was broken and I'd like to get a refund and send it back to you plus I tried to cancel this order within minutes after placing it and you wouldn't let me cancel it. I was unable to use my promo code that was sent to my email.

The gel was so thick it was almost solid. I couldn't put it in my hair without adding water and difficult to distribute evenly throughout. Once dry, it felt like there was a sticky film on my hair. I had to wash it out as soon as I got home.
