The Hello Kitty Tamagotchi is going to be the easiest mess-free ‘pet' your kids or grandkids have ever owned. Wow! Forget the the kids, it's fun for ALL ages! Don't get me wrong… The Hello Kitty Tamagotchi does take time and care but it's mess free and most importantly, it teaches responsibility. Your Tamagotchi will require care including feeding, and cleaning but there are games to be played too. Our grand daughter's Tamagotchi has a white shell with a Hello Kitty red bow and whiskers. While our granddaughter is 15 the Tamagotchi is appropriate for ages eight and older. I'm seriously thinking my 93 year old mom would have had a good time with Tamagotchi.
This is a great tamagotchi toy for kids! I have two boys and they love taking care of it. Hatching the egg, feeding it, cleaning up after it, playing the games on it, and watching it grow into 1 of 7 different things!! The noise on it can be turned off which is nice!
Overall, it is just like any other Tamagotchi toy. What makes this one special is the fact that it is Hello Kitty. If you are a collector or just a fan, I would suggest you add this to your collection. The Tamagotchi comes with a keychain for convenience, instructions, and operation batteries. The design is cute and Hello Kitty-inspired. If at any reason to purchase this handheld game, a girl would love to take care of a little pet without all the real responsibility.
This is the best toy to teach kids responsibly and if not taken good care of it, it could die. My 6 years old was not very excited about it, she didn't know how to use it. My 15 years old adopted this cutie hello kitty, it helped to keep her busy and forget about stress. It lasted 2 weeks before it died. Hopefully we found out that by pressing A and C at the same time it will respawn or reborn. My daughter was very happy when it came back to live, she now has a second chance to make up for her mistakes.
This tamagotchi is smaller than the one I had as a kid but the functions and pixelated graphics are the same. I was unsure If my kids would enjoy this virtual pet as much as my generation did and was surprised when they said they actually liked it and want more varieties of pets. They check on it and play with it daily for only about 5 minutes at a time because there is not a lot of options on it. They enjoy seeing it grow. I think in order to keep up with todays technology the makers of tamagotchi should have updated the graphics and added more options of play. All in all I love the nostalgic feel of this toy.
I thought my daughter might like this but she never had the original like I did so she lost interest. But I didn't! I found that although this is way smaller than the original it was still lots of fun! The screen is thick and small so sometimes I can't see the picture very well because of shadows and reflections, for that I deducted a star. If you need instructions you probably will have to go to their website or online because my daughter had a hard time trying to understand them. Overall it's cute and fun and doesn't take up room in your purse!
so as a parent, I despise this crazy little creature LOL ;-) it needs more attention than a toddler in order to keep it happy, clean, well fed, etc. However, my seven-year-old daughter really enjoys it and it's taught her some responsibility which I hope will pay off in the long run when it comes to taking care of our real life pet!
I played with something called a nano, which was very similar to this product. my daughter has had the same product as this, but it was not hello Kitty related. This particular one is on the smaller side. It's taking care of a virtual pet. You feed it, food and water. It needs sleep. Occasionally it gets sick, and you need to give it medicine. The downside is the volume, either you can turn it off or you can have it on. The volume is quite loud. honestly it's probably best to have the volume on, so you hear the notifications. The notifications let you know that your pet has a need. The pet is very needy, if you do not take care of it it will die. my daughter has had to reset this a few times already, due to her being in school... not able to take care of her virtual pet. Overall, She enjoys playing with it.
I recall having one of these as a kid. I really loved it. This is cute but it was really slow and of my course pixelated. I couldn't get out to function properly a few times and had to just put it up. My kids thought I'd was cute and lost interest quickly
I got this for my 14 year old daughter. She found it cute at first. but in today's world of high tech smart devices, this is not very awe inspiring. She played with for a few days and lost any interest she had in the beginning
