The Hello Kitty Tamagotchi is going to be the easiest mess-free ‘pet' your kids or grandkids have ever owned. Wow! Forget the the kids, it's fun for ALL ages! Don't get me wrong… The Hello Kitty Tamagotchi does take time and care but it's mess free and most importantly, it teaches responsibility. Your Tamagotchi will require care including feeding, and cleaning but there are games to be played too. Our grand daughter's Tamagotchi has a white shell with a Hello Kitty red bow and whiskers. While our granddaughter is 15 the Tamagotchi is appropriate for ages eight and older. I'm seriously thinking my 93 year old mom would have had a good time with Tamagotchi.
Overall, it is just like any other Tamagotchi toy. What makes this one special is the fact that it is Hello Kitty. If you are a collector or just a fan, I would suggest you add this to your collection. The Tamagotchi comes with a keychain for convenience, instructions, and operation batteries. The design is cute and Hello Kitty-inspired. If at any reason to purchase this handheld game, a girl would love to take care of a little pet without all the real responsibility.
This is a great tamagotchi toy for kids! I have two boys and they love taking care of it. Hatching the egg, feeding it, cleaning up after it, playing the games on it, and watching it grow into 1 of 7 different things!! The noise on it can be turned off which is nice!
When my kids were younger they loved playing with Tamagotchis. I thought my granddaughter would love it too. She loved that it was the Hello Kitty design. It was easy to set up - pull the tab and set the time. The instructions included were easy to follow. She enjoyed playing with it and the fact that she had to feed her virtual pet. It is small so it's best for a kid around her age -8- to play with. It is easy to carry everywhere with her so she can keep the pet alive too. I think this is a great toy to teach responsibility and for a kid to have fun.
My daughter got so excited when we receive this Hello Kitty Tamagotchi Device. It comes with instruction and the part she likes about the instructions is that it comes with a Growth Chart. After removing the little plastic that has attached it turns on and you can set up the time. After that the Hello Kitty character shows on the screen and then she disappears and the little egg shows up. After that, you will see eighter a light or dark character which I understand the dark one is female and the light one is male. Then you choose the food you want to fit the baby character and Hello Ketty will give the food to the baby. You can then play games. My daughter loves the one with the balloons. They are very cute to look at and entertaining for young children. The device is very small and comfortable to carry around. It has a little chain that can be attached to the belt or a bookbag to visibly carry it around. It has 3 mini buttons at the bottom of the devices to manage the character actions. Some of the games are a bit confusing when you try to figure it out on your own but the instructions are very easy to understand and doesn't take more than a minute to get it right. It is a lot of fun for children.
Our Granddaughter simply loved, loved, this . She had the biggest smile on her face when I gave it to her. She said it is the pet that she can take everywhere. I forget to ask her what she named it, but I think at this point it does not matter. Really nice toy!
so as a parent, I despise this crazy little creature LOL ;-) it needs more attention than a toddler in order to keep it happy, clean, well fed, etc. However, my seven-year-old daughter really enjoys it and it's taught her some responsibility which I hope will pay off in the long run when it comes to taking care of our real life pet!
I played with something called a nano, which was very similar to this product. my daughter has had the same product as this, but it was not hello Kitty related. This particular one is on the smaller side. It's taking care of a virtual pet. You feed it, food and water. It needs sleep. Occasionally it gets sick, and you need to give it medicine. The downside is the volume, either you can turn it off or you can have it on. The volume is quite loud. honestly it's probably best to have the volume on, so you hear the notifications. The notifications let you know that your pet has a need. The pet is very needy, if you do not take care of it it will die. my daughter has had to reset this a few times already, due to her being in school... not able to take care of her virtual pet. Overall, She enjoys playing with it.
First time trying to set it up was a flop. We adults couldn't get it all set up and easily became frustrated. Its pretty small a little smaller than a half dollar. However, our older teens remembered their original ones from when they were in elementary school and were able to get it programmed and show their younger sister how to feed and take care of their pet and what needs to be done to keep it alive. Because of size she doesn't play as much with it because she gets frustrated doing the buttons and hitting something incorrectly but she isn't a patient child. Since my older teens were able to figure it out and set it up quickly for her I do think it would be great for a hands on patient inquisitive child to learn responsibility on care giving.
I got this for my 14 year old daughter. She found it cute at first. but in today's world of high tech smart devices, this is not very awe inspiring. She played with for a few days and lost any interest she had in the beginning
