I bought this to have something much more aggressive than a string trimmer. -- something that would cut through vines and other plants that were more substantial than just grass. I have to admit that when I opened the box it seemed very cheaply made, almost like a toy. However, I attached the lawn-mower type blade and was amazed at how well this worked in clearing out some overgrown areas! It's a monster. I've only used it a couple of times for a total of maybe 45 minutes total, but the battery is still going strong on its first charge. I noticed several bad reviews and have been wondering if there might be some inconsistencies in they're manufacturing process, since the one I got has worked great!

I did not expect much from a generic Chinese battery trimmer. The reviews were excellent so I thought I would give it a try. I was surprised by the great results and performance of this battery trimmer. I would highly recommend it for it being light weight, affordable, and performance.

I have used it twice only so far. It is very good. The battery lasted over 1 hour. It cuts the grass very well. My grass was about 18 inches long because someone had stolen my prior lower and I had no money to replace it. Using the round blade to cut branches was too slow and rough. I switched to the metal blade and it was very good. The job is not too even because the blade gets stock sometimes and the mower kind of jumps a little. I need to try the strings next. It is very powerful and well built. I wish it were lighter. the solid materials make it about 8 lb. That gets heavy after a while. However, it is very easy to operate shifting hands. The front hand does the swinging and gets more tired. the back hand supports some weight.

it is very lightweight and works well. the wheels broke off during 2nd usage though. the fastener that attached it to the trimmer was plastic and snapped. even though i cant push like a vacuum, which was an excellent feature, it is still way easier than a gas powered that runs out of "mixture" or hauling 200ft of extension cord around with the electric model.

The batteries and charger worked as expected, but the tool is rather flimsy and the saw blade dulled quickly, the wheel setup is unstable and got in the way more than being helpful to guide it, and the tool wasn't easy to operate because it constantly tangled up with the briars and brush I was clearing.

instructions was crap. had to pay neighbor $20 bucks to put it together..he said instructions needs to be better also... quality poor I felt for the price. I don't think I order anything like this ever again! I should have sent it back but I already paid $20 to have it put together!!!!

Purchased this on 8/10/2025. Put it together. Starting using the weed-eater, however the wheel broke off. It connection joint is made of a plastic and it broke at the joint. Manual states there is a 90 warranty however there no contact information on the manual to reach someone form Tanbaby to replace/report the damage. Looked on light found their website but all it has is Lighting fixtures. Very disappointed that I'm not able to use the item any longer.

Instructions are not the easyest to follow its a good thing there are pictures. I used the brush blade for three days. Only about three houres a day. The batteries drain in about an hour each and take about an hour to charge each. On the third day it stopped working. I'm assuming the motor burned out because I here a click when I pull the trigger but all I here is a click the motor doesn't turn.

Cheaply constructed, minimal power, VERY short battery life. This thing is laughable. The wheel attachment is incredibly flimsy and basically worthless. After I got it assembled and started using the string trimmer attachment. It took forever to get the included 8 3/8" to get through some of the slots on the attachment. The battery was fully charged when I received it and once I started using it the battery completely lost all power in less than 10 minutes. put the battery on the charger and 4 hours later it had only charged up 1 bar. Live and learn, I guess. I'll now go buy a good quality American made trimmer.

The trimmer has an adjustable angle that broke during my only time using it. It worked for a while but I was unable to complete my job as the trimming tool became unusable. The angular setting part was broken, would not adjust. Just flopped up and down.
