My favorite Tarzan of all time. I give it a 10.
True to it's tagline "the most erotic adventure of all time" this was a great star vehicle for Bo Derek. As Jane, she and her father venture deep into the jungle to find an elephant graveyard for it's ivory. About 2/3 into the movie we finally see Tarzan. Beefcake Miles O' Keefe who never speaks but you do hear the infamous canned yodel. He has pet monkeys, a lion and an elephant that help him. He has to rescue the search party from some bad natives. The Burroughs estate sued which helped generate more buisness. It has shades of 'Fitzcaraldo' & 'Mountain of the Cannibal God' as in the hauling of a cannon thru the jungle and the body paint scene of Bo by the bad natives. The widescreen transfer looks great as well as the surround sound. And guys, this may be the only movie in history that you will want to see the end credits to the finish line.

Bo is Amazing to watch and with the animals.
Sort of a laughable movie, but Bo is spectacular to watch. Much better to have it in widescreen also.

Me Jane, you Tarzan
Does this differ from the old Tarzan? Well, in this Tarzan, almost no buyers of the DVD care a wit about him; most watch for Jane, i.e. Bo Derek. There are other themes, such as the Elektra complex and various civilization vs. those living in a state of Nature. At all times, Bo is the theme, which is OK since people watching no doubt have the same expectations. You should know by now what the film is and whether you're interested.

Not The Best Tarzan Ever Done. But It Has The Hottest Lady On The Planet At That time. BO DEREK. I Think The Ladies will say That About Miles O"Keefe. Of Course You get To see Her In Various States Of Undress. Worth It for That Reason Alone. If Your Not Into Bo Then Dont Bother With This Movie.
