I'm not really sure how well these work. I know mice are coming up from basement at night through the small openings that my dryer vent and washing machine drain hose come up. I put these behind the washer and dryer and still the mice came up at night. Now I put vinagar in a squirt bottle and squirt behind the machines and also throw some whole cloves back there. I threw a box of moth balls in the attic and crawl spacer in the basement and that seems to work more effectively. Google scents that deter mice and rats and you'll find most of what they don't like you have in your cabinets and it's much cheaper.

These bags are not running off the mice. I have a motion light that comes on when they appear so I have verified this to be true.

Mice chewed it open the first night. Did not repel them at all.
