I didn't expect these to be as nice and well made as they are. They're quite a bit better quality than the ones I've wasted money on that have a “TV personality” name attached. The cardboard that comes inside them is perfect for protecting your pans from chips/scratches while not in use. The set is very pretty, mine are blue with cream/blue spattered interior. The handles are nice with a weathered wood look, plastic-y material that is super comfortable to grasp/hold (not like typical silicone handles). I love the edges (rims) of these pans. Every one of them are reinforced and will resist warping and bending due to the design. I also really like the vented lids, very convenient to avoid boiling over. Although these say they are dishwasher safe, I personally will never put them in the dishwasher. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS on the back of your recipe book. All the info you NEED to know is right there. Some of the reviews I see look like they're from folks who did not read them. I have used both skillets so far and was very pleased. After allowing to cool, cleanup was a breeze. The “lifetime guarantee” is more of a marketing ploy. It's not worth much by the time you pay return shipping and an additional $8. I haven't had these long, but at this point I would definitely recommend this set.
The Smart Heat base on the bottom of pans distribute heat evenly which means the food turns out better with less babysitting the cookware. The handle's material doesn't get gummy like some silicone handles do and they fit comfortably in palms of hand. The light non-stick interior creme color is a pleasant change from the usually black color. The Red exterior I choose was purdy' too. The Tasty Recipe Book was a nice touch as well. Y'all have ta try the Chicken & Veggie Stir-Fry on page 12, YUMMY.
I would definitely recommend this set if cast aluminum cookware to anyone that needs a variety of pots and skillets for cooking. They are very nice looking also. The colors that are available will go with any decor. It would make a nice wedding gift if have one coming up in the near future.
Good quality, heavy non-stick pans for every possible cooking need. They have wooden handles that never get hot so no need for potholders while cooking. Glass lids allow you to see what's cooking. These pans even come with a non-scratch cooking spoon and spatula (which has a nifty, non-slip tab so it rests on the edge of the pan without slipping in.) Everything you need to cook delicious meals. Nice color on the outside and heat-spreading pattern on the bottom of each pan. There is even a hole in the handles that makes it easy to hang up these pans for a decorative touch in your kitchen. That keeps them in easy reach because I use them every day. My husband loves the omelet pan for the days when he cooks breakfast. It is just the right size to make flipping the omelet easy. The glass lid assures that the omelet cooks evenly and he can keep an eye on it. He noted that cooking took a bit longer than in the cheaper (thinner) pan he had been using before we got these great pans. I like the large pot for big dinners. I can make a casserole dish for 6-8 people with no sweat. The smaller saucepans are great for rice, veggies, even sauce. When I got this set of pans I donated all of my old pans to a charity. I'm so happy with the new pans, I'll never go back.
I absolutely love this cookware set, they are very stylish and durable. They cook evenly with the heat distributed nicely thru the whole pan, many say they do but these truly do.I made tacos and the cleanup was so easy afterwards, and not too heavy of a pan to break your back lifting,I also made macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, eggs, and love the no stick, and easy to clean, also I think this set will last along time, and they back it with a lifetime warranty, you won't be disappointed with this nice set!
I love these pots! First of all, they are really cute. I absolutely love the blue color with the wood colored handle (it's actually metal, but the style is great!) I did think they'd be a little heavier, but the weight doesn't seem to be a problem. I have a rather expensive set of pots and pans and I've still been choosing these over those! The nonstick works really great, but the real game changer is how fast water boils in the pots. I don't know how it works, I just know water boils in about half the time with these pots and I love it! I really like the shape of the sides of the pans. They come up a little higher than most pans and I find they splatter less. It's nice that the lids also work interchangeably between the pots and pans so I have fewer lids to store but always a lid when I need one. I had planned to use these as a spare set of pots/pans, but I've been using them as my primary set because I love them so much. I also like the spatula that was included. It's nice and flat so I can actually get under a fried egg to flip it, which is a very important spatula trait at our house. I haven't tested these in the dishwasher. Because they are so easy to hand wash. I quickly spray them with dish soap and rinse them off and they look as good as new. The nonstick works so well that they often look clean once I take the food out.
Beautiful red aluminum cookware set. Beautiful smooth wooden handles. Glass lids with steam holes. Nice heavy quality, not lightweight junk. Handles do not get hot while cooking. Non stick works better than most high end brands. I had never heard of this brand but look forward to seeing what else they make. The photos are of cooking sausage and scrambled eggs and the after picture is what actually stuck to the pans. This cleanup could be done by simply wiping out with a paper towel before putting in dishwasher. Overall takeaway is five star, love it!
I love my new Tasty 10 piece cookware set! I have to admit, the brand is new to me, so deciding on it was a leap of faith. Its so different from other brands ive purchased over the years. First of all the set is pretty! Mine are red. (But not too red). The inside is white with speckles. The handles look like real wood. The lids fit perfectly and are vented. A real plus! The cookware has a nice weight to it. Not heavy, but a quality feel. The handles are too thick for the hooks on my pot rack, but that was an easy fix, using zip ties to make a small loop. The first thing i made, was sausage and eggs. I tipped the skillet to get my spatula under the egg, and it slid to the other side! Awesome! I love that theyre dishwasher safe. Cookware with real wood handles isnt. My tip would be not to go over medium high heat, and season the cookware before using, and regularly going forward. And dont use metal utensils. In fact, the set comes with a nice molded plastic spatula and big spoon. Also, comes with a very cool cookbook with recipes i cant wait to try! Im very happy with this set and look forward to seeing more Tasty products at Walmart!
I'm torn on this set of dishes. On one hand they perform well and heat evenly. They look very nice and I love the blue denim color. The handles have a silky smooth feel to them like silicone and are not slippery. I like having the glass lids to see how your food is cooking w/o have to remove the lid. The non-stick surface performed well. I made spaghetti sauce and there was no staining. Clean up was a breeze. A fried egg cooked very evenly, better than my more expensive pan. They sat level on my flat top stove and didn't slide around like a completely flat bottom pan does sometimes. They are well balanced. BUT the lid for the dutch oven pot isn't included like what is shown on the box. This is HUGE and that lid is crucial. None of the others fit, I got one for the fry pan though. I did get 10 pieces, if you include the pancake turner and spoon. (see photo) I don't like the pancake turner as the end is too thick and stiff. The spoon is just a big plastic spoon. My other concern is whether or not the set contains PFOA's. I found nothing in the instructions or on the box that says they don't contain these harmful chemicals. I was under the assumption that they are no longer used to create non-stick cookware, but I'd like to see this stated on the box. Given the picture on box doesn't match what is in the box (missing lid) has me concerned about quality and longevity of the set. That's a pretty big screwup that leads me to feel like the non-stick coating is cheap and won't last. Add that to possibly containing PFOA's and I'm not sure if I should be using it at all. Tip: I did wash these in the dishwasher, but usually handwash non-stick cookware. I also do not use high heat as I read that makes the non-stick coating last longer.
I loved these pans until both the 8” and 9.5” have bubbles and then flaking on the inside bottom of the pans. They were delivered on January 7, 2023 so are only 6 months old. I didn't abuse either fry pan by heating over medium high heat. I'm afraid to use them as I'm sure the “flakes” will go into my food. Very disappointed.
