This set worked great! It was easy to use with an 8 year old, but also fun enough to make even if the kids are not participating. The instructions are easy to follow and the cocoa bombs turned out great. This is a great set to have at the house or to purchase for a gift. If you like cocoa, cocoa bombs are extra tasty and fun. I'd recommend this product and brand!

My son is obsessed with hot chocolate and this is perfect! It makes a fun way to make and drink hot chocolate. You can choose different chocolates and add your own touch so it's super cute. Will be using this during the holidays to make gifts for my friends and family. Would recommend!

I am so giving these as gifts!!! My daughter and I had a great time using this little kit. We didn't use everything in it but we did make chocolate bombs. When I say WE, I mean ME and SHE drank them. The process can be a little messy so we decided to cut the mold into individual cups for easier handling and to take up less space. They were so yummy. I didn't like that the little melting pot is not ok for candy melts...

We love hot chocolate in our household. It is a year around occurrence for us. So when I saw this hot cocoa bomb set I knew it was a must have. This set comes with everything needed to make the bombs except for the chocolate. This comes with the sphere molds, spatula brush, measuring cup, and Silicone melting pot with lid. All of these items are a must when making amazing cocoa bombs. I really loved that this kit had it all. It makes it so much easier to get started with this kit. Besides being a great addition your kitchen this would make a great addition to any persons kitchen. A great gift for those cocoa lovers. Or even people that love to bake.

My kids and I are having so much fun making all kinds of cocoa bombs with the Tasty 8-Piece Cocoa Bomb Kit. Not only do I use it for cocoa bombs, but I have also made chocolate balls with hidden surprises for my kids and their friends. This kit has everything I need to make perfect cocoa bombs every time. It comes with 4 silicone molds that can make 6 half-shells each, a microwavable melting pot, a silicone brush, a spatula, and a measuring cup. The chocolate spreads easily in the mold and freezes quickly. The silicone tray makes it trouble-free when popping out the half spheres of chocolate. There are easy to read step-by-step instructions on the back of the box that are simple to follow. Melting the chocolate in the reusable silicone melting pot is effortless. It pours quickly and mess-free into the molds, then all we had to do was spread it with the silicone brush. We had so much fun using this kit together. It was easy enough for my 9-year-old daughter to make her own cocoa bombs by herself. I also enjoyed the fact that cleaning up was so easy considering everything is made out of silicone. All of the items are even top rack dishwasher safe!

We've been doing the cocoa bomb thing since they hit the market. It's so much fun (and also somewhat therapeutic) to watch the cocoa bomb do its thing. We never thought to make our own until we saw this kit. It has everything you need included in the kit to make your own cocoa bombs besides the chocolate. The instructions on the back recommend that you use chocolate with at least 65% cocoa in it. I do wish the kit included the chocolate also, but I like the option to customize the cocoa bomb to our own liking. It's a fun project and great for people who enjoy drinking cocoa bombs. I'd recommend this.

The molds are well made and seem durable. The kit comes with the basic supplies needed to make your own hot cocoa bombs, up to 12 at a time. Making these for the first time took a little practice, for me, as I've never worked with chocolate before. No need to spend time trying to smooth the inside of spheres as they won't be seen. I wasn't sure about how best to "seal" the two half spheres together so I did some Googling. For me the method of putting the open side of the half spheres onto a warm plate worked best. I'm REALLY looking forward to two cocoa bomb parties I have scheduled with family. One will be with kids and I've got all sorts of holiday-themed sprinkles, mini marshmallows, mini chocolate and white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes; the other will be adults-only and making spirit cocoa bombs, some with Bailey's Irish Cream and others with Bicerin White Chocolate Liqueur. I'll have available the same items that I'm using for the kids, but I'll also have edible gold dust powder and several melted colored chocolates for piping and drizzling.

Absolutely love this kit! Perfect for gift giving. Enjoyed making cocoa bombs with my youngest after seeing them on pinterest last year was looking forward to trying this but with covid wasn't able to locate locally. This kit has everything you need to easily create the molds and fill the bombs along with being colorful and well made having even on hand with directions made it pretty fool proof. This is an awesome craft to do with kids especially as we are getting closer to fall. For us Hershey bars worked great on melting and firming up.

The kids love making the cocoa bombs but it will take some practice to put them together correctly. Start to finish doesn't take long and it doesn't need to be perfect so great for kids. Just putting the two pieces together we had to use extra cocoa to close it up. The spatula needs to have a longer handle so we used an iced tea spoon to stir the chocolate. We used almond bark and the melter holds two pieces at a time. I did take a minute for it to melt but it was perfect. I like that there is enough to make 12 cocoa bombs at a time and the process is pretty quick. We used mini mini marshmallows because the regular minis were too big. We will get a lot of use out of this and plan to get more kits for friends.

Everything is very easy to clean The box says that this kit is recommended for kids ages 6+, but the hot cocoa bombs are difficult to make. My 10 and 11 year old needed adult supervision to carefully pop the chocolate shells out of the mold, melt the edges and put the 2 chocolate pieces together to form a cocoa bomb. I would recommend this kit for older kids unless an adult will be present to supervise and assist. I like that this kit comes with all the tools needed to make cocoa bombs so you don't have to purchase any other kitchen tools or gadgets. All you need to purchase is hot cocoa, melting chocolate and marshmallows. Overall it's a fun kit for kids who enjoy cooking and experimenting in the kitchen.
