What a wonderful item !!! I’m so glad I bought this little popcorn popper. I love popcorn but microwave popcorn can get expensive, especially on a fixed income. I can pop however much popcorn I want in 2 minutes. It’s so economical and easy to use and clean. A much better option for popcorn lovers for fresh popcorn anytime!

This makes great microwave, popcorn, without all the weird ingredients. You can pop the kernels, plain, adding no butter or oil, in about two minutes. You could also add a small amount of oil, or a pot of butter on the top, the perforated lid will allow the butter to melt and drip into the popcorn as it pops. I usually pop it then spray on a little bit of the I can’t believe it’s not butter spray, and add salt. I don’t recommend cooking longer than two minutes or it will burn. The popcorn can literally flame up as it burns. If you cook it too long. This is a great design. You can even re-pop at the kernels that didn’t pop the first time around, once you’ve eaten what’s in there. This is better than the one that’s a two part bowl. That is made out of Melanine and it scorches with just the corn kernels. It can’t be used with any butter or oil at all! That scorches with just kernels and doesn’t last long before it needs to be replaced. Just the material it’s made out of it makes your house smells like something burned.

This popcorn maker was easy to use. I like that you don’t have to use oil or butter unless of course you want to. I bought a couple of popcorn toppers to sprinkle on top for a little added flavor but I like that I’m in control of how much I use. I wish it came in a bigger size but it’s fine for just me.

I used it with Amish popcorn and there's definitely a learning curve with the individual microwave. I did learn if you're going to put butter on the top so it butters it as it pops You have to use real butter because anything else has so much water in it It will moisten your kernels and then they won't pop. If I recommend do not use margarine melt it on its own and then pour it on your popcorn.

This is my second popper, a replacement for one that broke in the sink after 2 years of use (glass has a shelf life, unavoidable, especially with buttery fingers). I LOVE this thing. It pops the perfect amount for one craving without a lot of cleanup, and I end up using half the fat and no extra salt because somehow, magically, popping kernels directly in melted salted butter flavors them perfectly. I had to play around with the timing and power level for my microwave in order to pop the maximum amount of kernels before the popped ones started to scorch (I was willing to sacrifice myself for science), but once I dialed it down, it's practically effortless and always satisfying. I think this is honestly my favorite kitchen doo-dad. THAT SAID, this may not be the way to go for a family movie night or when the gang's all here. This is more of a personal indulgence type thing, or maybe for a couple if you both aren't popcorn hoovers (like I am), because it only pops enough to fill a 1.5 liter bowl (the smallest one in a 3 bowl set, or about 6 cups). But you needn't clean the popper between uses in one setting, so it's hardly an inconvenience. This thing is perfect - air poppers are bulky and noisy, Act II and Jiffy Pop leave a weird film in your mouth, and stovetop popping always requires scouring off burned bits from the bottom of the pot - but this borosilicate glass microwave popper is quick, efficient, reliable, and produces a yummy crispy pop without a lot of unpopped kernels.

It’s glass. Maybe I missed that in the description if it said so but I was happy that the popcorn pops in a glass bowl like area and the red stuff is the only plastic. Small. It’s a nice single serving. My microwave is too powerful so I’m still trying to get the right percentage to keep it from burning even going only two minutes.

I love this popcorn popper it pops just the right amount for me I made a year old woman living in an apartment and I just wanted popcorn for one serving I was using paper bags got tired of throwing paper bags away and ordering them now I can just popping this one serving and it's great I'm buying one for my son-in-law he loves popcorn

You don't need to pay more than this to get quality popcorn. It's very affordable compared to bagged popcorn. I just use Sea salt and no butter so I can't say anything about how well the butter dispenser works. It works comparable the same way the bags pop and tastes good just like bagged popcorn.

While this is a great idea, it fails to perform. I tried 2x... popcorn never really popped...like 2 or 3 kernels popped out of 15 kernels. I popped in my usual stainless steel pot with olive oil and all the kernels popped. So the kernels were not old. I was so excited when I bought this. I'm disappointed 😞

The rounded shape of the popper causes the popcorn to jam up the opening as it has no place to go. Only way to avoid this is to pop just a very small amount of corn, but I need it to have a larger capacity for say, 1/3 cup of corn. That is a standard amount for most corn poppers I have used, but they were all bowl-shaped, not ball-shaped. I don't like this popper at all. Wasted my money.
