it was fantastic for both zestings and grating cheese.
Item was smaller than it actually looked when I ordered it
Really like this grater. Not only does it grate the cheese you can store the grated cheese in it when done. The blades are nice and sharp and did a great job. Also comes with a second blade so can do regular and extra fine grating. Washes up nice. Highly recommend this item.
I like this small Tasty Grate and Measure set. It is small so it easily fits in a drawer. It holds a little over a cup so it is great if you only need a small quantity of something. It comes with 2 graters- a coarse and a fine grater. The graters are easy to change and easy to clean. I like that the graters fit down inside the base and there is a plastic slider that covers the grates and holds everything inside. The only negative I have is that there is no guard to prevent cutting yourself. Yes, I did grate a bit of my thumb along with potato while making hash browns.
Have not used this yet but it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I bought it mainly for shredding cheese. The container may hold a cup of shredded softer cheeses like cheddar or mozzarella but not much more. It's okay for small amounts so I guess I'll still be using the food processor if I'm shredding a whole pound of cheese.
I make a lot of egg salad. I normally grate about 7 eggs per recipe. This grater held 3 medium sized grated eggs. It says it 9.5 ounces. I was hoping would hold all 7 eggs. I can see that if your were a baker and decorating pastry that this would come in handy for items such as chocolate. I used the coarse blade. In my opinion even that was pretty finely grated. The grater is easy to use and cleans easily. I did use a plate underneath it to catch any over spills. Very nicely constructed.
Delivery seems to be a constant issue that needs attention! We either get rescheduled 2 or 3 times then canceled. Then reordered and sent to neighbors houses on either side of us. Has your hiring process lowered your company to lose revenue due to maybe unintelligence? My wife counts on you people and we pay you for a service that you don't seem to uphold. Very sad to grow to the level of incompetence. Sorry just being honest. I wish I could say better. People need to know their job and the company has to be responsible to say as they do and do as they say. Not make handicapped people be strung along. I could have shopped myself if I knew what was going on. Very unprofessional and borderline untrustworthy. I am not sure I would want these type of delivery people on my property. What would they leave with? Do you trust them?
Overall size and tray is nice. Unfortunately the blade is too sharp for me as it cut me bad, and yes a sharp blade is needed I know. i believe its the smaller size to grate leaves fingers more exposed.
Overall, too small. The grates are too small for anything but garlic and ginger. useless for cheese or anything else.
I will be blunt, my hand and fingers was schredded up had to have band-aids covering them for day so the skin wouldn't catch on things
