Tasty The Salad Boss Salad Chopper Colander Bowl, Green

This is an attractive bowl. A must for the person that carries their lunch. Place for your salad dressing. It is not bulky. I use it to slice my home made bread. Soak and/or rinse loose vegetables. So many more uses for the creative person. I cannot give any negatives.

My review on the 2021 Tasty Salad Boss - Green & White. This is the absolute coolest salad bowl I have ever seen in my life! It has a great seal and is sturdy built so it holds any moisture inside and does not leak water out and make messes. They have these little holes in the sides that I can slide the cilantro through and it pulls the leaves off the stem and I simply mix it into my salad. It has a perfect size little salad dressing container on the top of the lid and it does not leak out at all either. The best part it you just throw in your big pieces of lettuce, tomato, carrots and whatever you like, and easily slice it up as much or little as you prefer and it does not make a huge mess. You need this bowl if you like to take salads to work or on the road. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!

The quality of this is amazing ! Love the color, love the locks and love the fact that it's so versatile. It can be used for so many things. The first thing I tried was salad. The convenient slicing/ strainer bowl worked out great for my head of lettuce, but also on another night for a small head of cabbage I needed to cut up for soup. The locking clips are great and high quality, not the cheap plastic that snap off when you close them. The mini container is great for anything from dressings, olives, cool whip or even cheese. I can use this over and over again. It fits convenietly in the lunch bag and if it gets knocked over, the contents don't fall out. My grandson calls it his fruit bowl. We use the small container for our cool whip and sprinkles. It also cleans up really well and is also dishwasher safe.

I was very impressed with this product! The lid has a little cup on it that you can fill with your favorite dressing. And the lid seals really tight, so it doesn't leak on you while traveling with it. It has a colander inside it, that you can strain and wash your veggies. It doubles as a way to slice your veggies as well. And it kept my salad nice and cold too. I definitely recommend this product!

The Tasty salad boss was a great idea! Being able to rinse, cut, and store your salad all in one is great for people on the go! so far I've taken mine to work and my daughter used it on a picnic! It comes with a bowl, the slicer/ colander, and the stay fresh lid with really nice side latches. It's seriously so easy- you put your salad choices in the colander to rinse, then place them in the bottom bowl, flip the colander over and then slice it one way, turn and slice the other way. Then pour back into the bowl and replace the lid if you are taking it to go- or enjoy as is right now! The absolute best part of the whole design is the lid has a little to go dressing container attached! Genius! Easy clean up and stylish lunch container! Worth it for sure!

Received this bowl on Jan 22 and gave it a try. It is nicely made, nice bowl with large capacity for salad. It has a decent container for salad dressing and I like the locking lid. I'm not as impressed with the chopper unit. I used it with my collard greens only to see how it cuts and it did an okay job. It didn't chop them as easily as I expected. I again used it with lettuce and carrots and some of the carrots got chopped and some didn't even though I turned the lid several times. I used baby carrots and maybe that affected it, I don't know. To me it was easier chopping the items and putting them in the bowl as opposed to using the chopper unit. All in all I do like the concept and will use the bowl and dressing container. If you are a working person, then this unit will be quite nice for taking salad or anything else to work. I would recommend to anyone especially if you are working and take your lunch to work. I gave it four stars only because I wasn't impressed with the chopping unit.

My daughter was always talking about tasty videos so it was fun to try the salad boss! We loved that there is a dressing container and it is really easy to pop in the salad and cut it right in the bowl! I thought this would be ideal for back to school - but we love it for home, too! Easy to clean, too

This is a nice size bowl for making salads. Its a nice color and looks nice too. The snaps work well when opening and closing it. It is also dishwasher size and does not melt as I have tried it out in my own dishwasher. I have made salad in it twice. I have not used the cutter chopper. I have used just regular salad mix and added my own toppings. This might come in more handy if you were just using a regular head of lettuce. I put in salad mix and toppings and than I close the lid and shake it up. The toppings sort of stick to the lid but it does mix things up. I usually will then take some salad out and put it on my own plate with dressing. Then there is still enough for my husband a salad too. I have not used the dressing container but it seems too small to hold as much as I would like. If I were to take this somewhere I would probably bring a very small separate snap on container to hold the dressing in. I would like to also mention I think this bowl is too big for any size lunch bag if you plan on bringing it to work. You might have to bring it in a Walmart bag if you are packing your lunch. I received this salad bowl as part of a promotion but this is my honest opinion.

This little guy is packed with thoughtful components for a portable salad kitchen. The only thing lacking is a place to house a knife and fork. I especially like the four side latches. They snap into place with a satisfying click. The slicing guide is handy and doubles as a strainer. It gets left home, though, cuz after slicing and rinsing, it's just in the way when I go to eat my creation. The only part that doesn't work as well as I'd like is the dressing container. The top does not catch on to the screw threads of the container with any kind of ease. It also is not held as snuggly on the lid as it should be. If it drops off in transit, my salad will be rather naked at lunch. So far, it's good, though. Overall, I like this set. It has some very excellent pieces.

Very pretty, somewhat sturdy but hard to use item. I did, I really wanted to love it. It is a lot of steps just to cut up items for a salad. I found it rather quite inconvenient and very time consuming. In addition the slots to cut are not at a very good angle to be slicing sharp knifes into. I don't know my Father was a Master Chef and he taught me to never cut lettuce to only rip it. So I would not recommend the item UNLESS you just absolutely are a gadget junkie :)
