It is such a light texture and has a really good chocolate taste with the layer of chocolate that is great if you are a chocolate lover. It really feels like a slice of cake perfect for when you want a pick me up. It is not too sweet, which I like but holds great flavor. It is not dry or crumbly but is moist and melts in your mouth. A really good pastry for when you crave a sweet snack.

The cake is soft and fluffy, with a rich chocolate layer that perfectly complements the incredibly moist center. It has just the right amount of chewiness! Every bite tastes fresh and indulgent without being too heavy. These are absolutely perfect to enjoy with a cold glass of milk as it really brings out the chocolate flavor and makes it even more satisfying. Great for a quick snack, dessert, or a little sweet pick-me-up. They are the perfect size to grab and go on a quick trip or out the door to work. I’ll definitely be buying these again!

These cakes come individually wrapped, which is great to keep them fresh. And for a "Junior" snack cake, they are really big! The wrapping on them squishes the frosting a bit so they aren't as pretty as they are on the package, but that's not the point of a snack! It also has a layer of frosting in the middle. The more frosting, the better, in my opinion! The cake itself is a bit dry, which is why I'm not giving it five stars, but the flavor is great for a wrapped snack cake. The frosting is rich and chcolately and the cake has a perfect sweetness.

My kid even got a little sick from how sweet it was lol which is rare. I love how big the serving sizes are. I was worried about only getting 4 but wow what a big box. These are true cake pieces and definitely worth the money for what you get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This treat was much bigger than expected with “junior” in the name. The flavor was good and reminiscent of a chocolate Twinkie. I would have preferred a little more icing/ filling in the middle but did enjoy this dessert.

the cake packages was opened, and the cake them self was messed up and not lined up. this the first time i had this happen with tastycakes products. i did report it to tastycakes company andnstill didnt hear anything from them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a box of this compliments from Influenster to test out in exchange for my honest opinion. The box has a tasty looking image of the cake. It has 4 cakes inside. The cakes are yellow layered cakes with chocolate icing on top and in the middle. The cakes have 330 calories per serving with 33 grams of sugar. The cakes were A LOT bigger than I expected. Two people can probably satisfy their sugar cravings with one cake between the two of them. Honestly, it might even satisfy 4 people because of how sweet they are. I could only handle two bites before I got sugar overload and had to stop. The cakes are very moist and the icing is very generous. I would probably snack on these occasionally, but definitely not that often and I would split it with my family. They taste good, but too sweet for me to eat on my own.
