The cake is soft and fluffy, with a rich chocolate layer that perfectly complements the incredibly moist center. It has just the right amount of chewiness! Every bite tastes fresh and indulgent without being too heavy. These are absolutely perfect to enjoy with a cold glass of milk as it really brings out the chocolate flavor and makes it even more satisfying. Great for a quick snack, dessert, or a little sweet pick-me-up. They are the perfect size to grab and go on a quick trip or out the door to work. I’ll definitely be buying these again!

They are nice and sweet throughout the whole cake especially with the middle filling. They weren’t too messy while eating and are a good consistency without being dry. The chocolate icing is a nice smooth flavorful chocolate.

These little cakes are individually wrapped, which makes them so easy to take on the go and the portion size is perfect . My favorite cake is yellow cake with chocolate frosting and these satisfied that craving. I think these tastykakes are the perfect little treat for when you don’t want to get out all of the ingredients to bake a cake. They taste great with a glass of milk. These cakes were fluffy and moist which is what I look for in a cake. Overall, super happy to have these little treat treats.

It really is like packing a piece of birthday cake in your lunchbox and gifting yourself a treat for the day! It’s a pretty big portion size and tastes yummy and moist! I enjoyed these as a special treat!

These cakes come individually wrapped, which is great to keep them fresh. And for a "Junior" snack cake, they are really big! The wrapping on them squishes the frosting a bit so they aren't as pretty as they are on the package, but that's not the point of a snack! It also has a layer of frosting in the middle. The more frosting, the better, in my opinion! The cake itself is a bit dry, which is why I'm not giving it five stars, but the flavor is great for a wrapped snack cake. The frosting is rich and chcolately and the cake has a perfect sweetness.

the cake packages was opened, and the cake them self was messed up and not lined up. this the first time i had this happen with tastycakes products. i did report it to tastycakes company andnstill didnt hear anything from them

They do lean a little dry and not a ton of frosting. The taste is good and not overpowering chocolate. They would make a good snack with a cup of hot coffee or a glass of milk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I shared one of these chocolate Tastykakes for dessert and had a laugh that they are called Juniors for being so big! We both agreed that they were better than we expected because they look like they would be dry - luckily they were moist and the chocolate flavor was very good. The one downside is that they do not look as delicious as they do on the package and we both wished there was more frosting in the middle layer.

My husband tried and said they were thick and dry. I mean they are a cheap little snack cake so expectations shouldn't be too high. That being said, if you enjoy a chocolate icing you might enjoy. I prefer a ganache over a chocolate icing/buttercream. That is just a taste preference. So don't let me sway you if you are a die hard chocolate cake icing fan.
