Tatcha The Silk Canvas 0.7 oz

It's ok but it leaves a chalky residue which doesn't work very well in dark melanated skin and I it doesn't blur which is what I purchased it for. I don't think I'll be purchasing this again. Z

It really is the BEST primer I've EVER tried! I'd love to see it made into a stick version bc I don't like to have to stick my fingers into ANYTHING going on my face...not only that but I think it would make the application process alot faster. Also (I can't speak for everyone) but a rice sized amount is nowhere near enough for the entire face. But anyways I highly recommend this glorious product! To anyone that doesn't already have it i suggest you really considerate it!!

I have used this a few times since I got it complimentary from Influenster, and honestly had preferred my ELF primer for a while. I think I just had to find how much I needed for my face to really get it. It BLURS, ok??? It also keeps everything in place. I make sure I put plenty of moisture on my face before and after because it definitely mattifies the look, which is fine for me up to a point since my skin tends to be drier. I couldn't be happier with this now

I finally found a primer that's light and smooth for my face. I used it alone with Tatcha's dewy cream. The silk canvas makes my skin looks hydrate and smooth. I don't wear make up so I don't know how good it is with it. It is a bit pricey but a little goes a long way. highly recommend it.

This primer is on a whole other level. I wasn't used to a primer that wasn't a cream, but it was easy to apply. Even before I applied my foundation, I could see that my pores were reduced & my skin had a much smoother appearance. My foundation went beautifully over top of it. I've never had great skin (acne, discoloration, large pores) but that day that I wore Silk Canvas under my foundation I was complimented on how great my skin looked!

I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. I'm so happy I tried it!!! It's so soft to touch and you can see how your skin is transforming into silk! I didn't use any primers before it, just a moisturizer. And I didn't use any powders on top. Love it and would definitely recommend to everyone!

I am 53 years old and have always been fair skinned with pretty even completion. Until…menopause. This left me with uneven tones. The silk canvas primes my skin perfectly and evens out the tone so that when I use my base it looks like it did 15 years ago. Doesn't make my skin younger, but gives the illusion it is. Great product.

Received this as a trial and oh my goodness I may be in love! It's so silky and smooth feeling. Also you don't use a lot with each application and a lot comes in the container so you'll definitely get your money's worth. I used it both with and without makeup. Without makeup it helps give me a nice matte, clean, and smooth finish. With makeup it kept my look in place out in the field while reporting. Interviewing and getting shots in the rain and carrying gear, my hair was a mess but my makeup was flawless! The only reason i didn't give it a 5 is because the little applicator. It's cute but super small and not attached to the primer container and could easily get lost.

I rated this 3 stars because when I used it during the summer it was amazing but now that it's getting colder, I don't really like it as much. During the summer, my foundation looked flawless over this primer. Now that it's colder, this primer makes my make up look so patchy and it makes my dry patches more pronounced so it's not my favorite as of now. I received this as free sample.

Beautiful packaging! My face broke out pretty badly after using. Not sure if it was directly related to this product but it hasn't broken out this bad in years. Normally I use more liquidy consistency primers so this one may have been too much for my pores. This is definitely a creamier/ pastier product. I didn't see a noticeably different longevity of the product when compared to other less expensive products. I did receive this product complimentary but it's not a good fit for me.
