That's not a minor reduction; it's a significant decrease in the amount of product you're getting. What bothers me most is the way it was done. We grabbed the same package we've purchased many times before, with no reason to suspect anything had changed. We didn't realize we were getting less until we opened it. The only changes were the printed weight and other fine-print details. Most people don't memorize the weight of products they've bought for years, so there was no practical way to notice the reduction while shopping. If the packaging had been clearly redesigned or labeled “new size,” that would have been transparent. Instead, this feels like an attempt to disguise a significant price increase, and that's disappointing.

After repeated satisfactory orders of Tate's Choc Chip cookies I received 3 thin %26 crispy style and 3 soft style; all were rancid, smelled and tasted like gasoline. I got credit for 3 and threw out the rest. What happened to my delish cookies?
