For some reason, the first time my husband and I purchased these cookies, we thought they were vegan. When we realized they were not, we initiated a return of these cookies and a few other flavors in the same brand. Walmart said it was not necessary to return them and let us keep them. On occasion, we will eat vegetarian food. Since we had these cookies and we did not need to return them, we decided to try them, and we are so glad that we did. Thanks to Walmart, we discovered a new brand of cookie, which included these and a few other flavors. These are our favorite flavor of the cookies and we have purchased them several times since. In fact, we are going to purchase some more today. They are delicious: very crispy and chocolatey. We like to heat them for a few seconds in the microwave to melt the chocolate chips. Sometimes, we melt some extra chocolate chips on the side and dip the chocolate cookie into the melted chocolate. Sometimes we even melt some vegan chocolate and dip the cookies into it. It's like chocolate cookie fudge. We definitely recommend this brand of cookies and this flavor, in particular. I suggest trying them with some melted, semi sweet or dark chocolate on the side for an extra chocolatey sweet dessert.
If you like an old fashioned crispy on the outside cookie, my whole family recommends this Brand and these delectable double chocolate chip cookies. They are packed in two serving tubs inside the bag, which keeps them safe from breakage. The chocolate flavor is very good, not cheap and random.
My number one go to double chocolate chip cookies comparable to the one that Insomnia cookies has but at half the price. I will buy this pack and hide it in my room from my kids. It's that dang good keep some of your desk drawer for those stressful moments. Great crispy crust two separate packaging inside that way they don't get stale.
Don't buy these! You'll eat the entire bag and one sitting. And then you want more and you'll buy more and more and more. They are so good. They have a nice crisp texture. Great for snacking. Too great for snacking. Be for warned. They are addictive.
No better packaged cookie than Tate's, and that goes for all the flavors. Yes, they're relatively expensive but they taste and feel expensive. If you can be satisfied with only a few a day even better. I usually avoid buying them because I'll have the entire bag polished off within 24 hours.
Best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had (most likely because they're from my home state of New York!)
These cookies are the BEST double chocolate chip cookies ever!!!! You can never go wrong with Tates brand. They never disappoint!
Tate's Bake Shop Double Chocolate Chip Cookies are fantastic! I love this brand of cookie; they are delicious and healthier than other cookies out there. They have different flavors, and in my opinion, they are all really tasty.
I don't mind a crunchy cookie for the most part but these cookies were too crunchy for me. The flavor was ok but I don't care for the combination. I love their soft chocolate chip cookies and the flavor of those works well together. If you like a really crunchy cookie, these might be for you. I don't recommend them.
terrible cookie. the chocolate has no taste at all. this company had a good chocolate chip cookie but now have cut way back on the chocolate chips. their ruining what was decent cookie and their is almost none of those left.
