Taylor ClearVu Jumbo Jr. Rain Gauge

I was hesitant to get the yellow color thinking it wouldn't be as visible as my previous red or green gauges but it shows up well against the stand and greenery behind it. Number size is good at a distant. Easy to empty and rinse out, which is important for this style. In general, if you don't keep this type clean, the float doesn't function well.

A little smaller that what I imagined but big enough. There is a locking pin underneath that looks well thought out. I wish the mounting bracket had two screw holes in the bottom to go with the two in the top. I'm comparing this to the last one (Accurite I think) I had which was larger in diameter and there were four mounting screw holes in the bracket.

The numbers are large enough that I can see them from my patio door. The float is red and can also be seen easily. I like that it sticks in the ground and doesn't have to be attached to a post.

This is a good quality rain gauge. It sticks in the ground. I would have rather had it mounted on a post.

Love the size of this rain gauge which makes it easy to see from inside the house. I currently have it in the ground - challenge is it's large so it tends to lean because the stake isn't that long or strong. Going to look into options for making it more stable. Otherwise it is a great purchase and I would recommend, especially for older people.

Very large, easy to read. Plastic, not glass which to me is better because of it does break its less of an issue. Seems solid though. Can mount in the ground or hang, like on a handrail or something. The caddy holder has both mounting options. Easy to remove and drain or clean. Love the size. Good purchase.

This is the 3rd exact rain gauge like this that I have purchased. Unfortunately, after a year or two the yellow collector at the top of the gauge cracks and falls off. I do enjoy the large numbers on the rain gauge and am able to see how much rain has fallen from my windows inside my house. Just wish the top was not so fragile or you could purchase that piece without having to buy a whole new rain gauge.

Product was damaged when received. I called your 800 number. The person I spoke to said they would contact the vendor and get back to me with the vendor's decision to send a replacement or issue a refund. Todate I have not heard back. Today I called your 800 number and a woman with a Philipino accent gave me a bar code to attach to the product and return the product to the nearest store. I plan to do that tomorrow or the next day. The vendor in question here leaves a lot to be desired! ! ! ! Terrible service! ! ! !
